I'm totally nitpicking here, but part of me wishes that these "double candy" events did not coincide with the events that increased spawns of a certain type of Pokemon.

Finding a Dratini is tough as it is, but now that I have an opportunity to get double candy for it, no way I'll see one thanks to the billion Clefairies.

 

Is there really that many Chansey?! Gotta get that Blissey.

 

I really wish Grimer was pink instead of purple. Almost at 60km walked with that guy.

 

As soon as I get my Blastoise I'm walking him next

 

I've caught sooo many porygon already

 

Seen sooo many exeggcutes, a lot of slowpoke too. Saw one porygon, no Chansey. Getting some snow tonight but temperatures are back into the 40-50s by the weekend so it's cool

 

Only Exeggcutes for me out here. Didn't even think about them for this event.

 

Today I evolved for the first time: Ninetails, Muk, Omastar, Alakazam, Machoke, Machamp. Booyeah.

 

Finally got my Lickintung today. A whopping 91 CP.

 

The strongest Lickitung I've caught is 260cp. I don't think it generally is very strong.


Edit: just got one at 717cp.

 

A long time ago I caught a 720cp lickitung. Only one I've ever seen. Had a couple on the tracker today and didn't see them.

It's been mainly jigglypuff and exeggcutes for me. Oh and porygon. Seen one Clefairy and hatched a cleffa. Also caught a chansey.

 

So. many. CLEFAIRY! Twice now all 9 of my nearby list has been Clefairy lol. No Chansey yet but I'm certain I'll get one today.

Ya boi got his first Chansey, a colossal 59cp Seeing the silhouette come up was crazy though, as I haven't seen any silhouettes on the nearby list for 3 months at least.

Also, are we sure Dratini are not part of this event? Caught 4 or 5 today which is an unbelievable haul.

 

Got a Chancey this morning! Puts me up to 137. I don't really want anything else from the event, so I'll probably just try to run to make up some Dratini candies.

Also, has anyone in this thread mentioned the eggs being rearranged? They knocked a ton of them down a level (no more Pinsir, Onyx, Scyther in 10ks for example)

this has been dying for me real slowly. still have it open to hatch eggs and get candy on my walks to work but after my sole 5k hatched a friggin diglett this morning i think thats gonna signal the end for me.

 

Yikes. Five Dratini during this event equals 40 candies. That would be enough for me to evolve them. haha.

 

Just checked my journal & it was only 4, but it's put me at 65 candies now so not too far to go. Got a 1167cp Dragonair ready to evolve when I hit the 100 mark, but its only an xs and I want an xl, so I may wait!!!
