Yeah it's been a long time since I got a 10k too. SilphRoad says on average 1 out of every 16 eggs is a 10k - these are my first in about 40 eggs! I did get three 2km eggs from three consecutive stops yesterday, but I don't need anything from that egg group anymore!

 

The number of Goldeen I have hatched is far too high.

Haha 1 out of 16? Yeah right, I'm coming up on 1 out of 50 for sure (and it was my fourth Jynx...)

I haven't really cared about the babies, so all I need is Geodude from 2k and Grimer from 5k. It is still astounding though that about 12-15 of the eggs I ran through were during the "increased hatch rates for babies" event and still not a single one.

 

Yeah I didn't get any babies during that event either! With the amount of 5km eggs I've burned through I'm shocked I don't have a Togepi yet (have hatched 2x Pichu, 2x Igglybuff and 1x Cleffa so far). All I hatch these days is Goldeen, Poliwhirl and Ekans, it takes the fucking piss.

 

lol I know, I feel the same. I've never hatched a Grimer and that's the last one I need!

My 2ks haven't been so hot either. Two Zubats, two Spearows, and a Bulbasaur since the last event. I mean, come on!

 

I feel like Grimers come in waves - i'll go through a patch where I hatch 2 or 3 over a fortnight or whatever, then go months without any. They're rare, but not Tangela & Porygon level of rare!

 

I finally got my first baby Pokemon...a Smoochum!....but it was in the new Pokemon Duel game :(

 

Can't stand that the last thing I need is an Elekid. 10Ks are so hard to get and the odds of getting him out of the others is even worse. Couldn't have been a 5k? God knows Niantic loves them these days.

 

For real tho, Sludge Wave is fucking great.

 

Luckily I found a single Porygon in the wild. Tangelas pop up at my house every couple of days.

 

When you say less visited do you mean less visited in general by other players or just less visited by you?

I'm just asking because I get 2-4 10ks a week from a stop in the middle of the mall where I work. So in my experience, that's not the case

 

I still stand by my claim that Pikachu is the rarest egg hatch though. I may struggle to get Aerodactyl and Chansey but others don't seem to have a problem hatching them at all.

 

In all honesty, for all the 10ks I get, I've only hatched one Aerodactyl. I caught the only 2 Chanseys I've ever seen. And all I need from the 10k group is Lapras. Those 2-4 I get every week are almost always Pinsirs or Magmars, now Magbys.

 

I could answer yes to both of those - the stops are out of the way of any major footfall and I haven't spun them in 6 weeks. But I guess it was coincidence unless you've got some magic pokestop in your mall or something?!?! 4 a WEEK!!!

 

I'm so bitter talking about these 10k eggs. I'm within striking distance of clearing out the last two 2k and 5k Pokemon I need, then I still have seven to go in the 10k category. I feel like that accurately depicts how few I've gotten.

 

I've hatched 3 pikachu's.

 

I think I've only hatched one pikachu and one pichu.

 

Just hatched a damn Kabuto. You went extinct for a reason!

 

Wish I could get ONE of those...

 

Annnd a wild Kabuto nest appears...

 

Complaining works. Unless it's me trying to get a Lapras

 

Caught two of them just now after never seeing or hatching a single one. Same thing happened with Omanyte. Caught my first one then got Omastar within a few days.
