Out of the last five 10k's I received, 3 were Onix. The others were Smoochum and Lapras.

 

all i ever get are bellsprout and krabby and doduo basically

 

See, I can't believe I've never even hatched an Onix. I had to wait for a nest and catch one like a month ago. I'm pretty confident if I ever get 10ks again, my first seven will be Onix.

 

Wait so you randomly went to Paris and Australia to get those Pokemon? Please tell me you coincidentally had to go for work or something..

 

He said spoof was worth it and that he visited both Paris and Brisbane in one night. Either private jet or cheatin' haha.

 

Ah sorry read it too fast at work. And yeah impossible to fly to Paris and Australia in same night haha. AUS is like a 24 hour trip by itself haha

 

I think Onyx has been the most common 10km hatch for me. I have 163 candies, so I guess I'll be good when Steelix comes...

 

I feel like everyone has talked about how many repetitive 10ks they've gotten which makes me think that I just haven't gotten very many in comparison.

So close to Machamp, Golem, and Muk...so my last Pokemon to get will be Kabuto/Kabutops, Chancey, Hitmonchan, Lapras, Aerodactyl, and Dragonite. That seems absurd to me.

 

Yeah I never get 10Ks either. Think I'm finally going to go on a little hiatus because I'm finally done walking everything I could to evolve something. All I need is Porygon, Hitmonlee, Chansey, Aerodactyl to complete US dex. Nests of any of them don't really exist. At least not near me.

 

Need 22 for both Grimer and Geodude, and then the only thing left I'll be able to do without the help of eggs is walk my Dragonair 310km.... Not going to happen.

 

Yeah I got lucky there. It took me a little bit to get Dragonair and as soon as I did I found a wild Dragonite like the next day.

 

Pretty sure Trainer Tips pretty much confirmed that you are more likely to get 10ks from stops that aren't spun very often. So try rural areas or random neighborhoods.

My 10kms have been 5 Onyx, 2 Eevees, 2 Scyther, 2 Pinsir, 1 Magmar, 1 Snorlax, 1 Omanyte

So bad it can make a man cry. Lucky I've caught 2 Lapras and Aerodactyl and both Chan and Lee (both below 100 cp lolz). Just need Chansey. 25 Omanyle candies and 118 more Dratini candies.

 

That's insane lol this was most likely because they upped the chances of getting 10ks during the Halloween event, but I know for a fact I got all three of those last eggs from the most popular park in town... I'll try hitting ones out in the country then.

I'm still looking for a wild Dragonite where people have reported him to be a few times a week, but my Dragonair (first Dratini ever) is 100% so I would really rather find a nest of some sort.

I want to finish the available Gen 1 Pokedex, so I'm at least going to finish out everything that's within my control. After that, I'll probably quit playing since there's not too much I can do at this point to get all those rare guys.

That trailer is painfully accurate.... Makes me mad that I even still play. haha.

I was thinking about the overall mechanics about this game, and I really wish a lot of Pokemon were like Magikarp/Gyarados. Everyone can go find the Magikarp if they go to the correct terrain, it just requires the work to catch enough of them. Feels like how it should be all around. IMO, they also should not have stuck to the rule that everyone else requires 25 and 100 for two-step evolves and 50 for a one-step. For example, make Dratini available in certain terrains but require way more for Dragonite than a Golem or Vileplume.

I just think it's ridiculous with things like Omanyte and Machop where I never see a single one and then a "nest" appears, letting me sweep them up in two days. It's completely out of my control for months, and then it's way too easy. Neither one of those things are fun ways to play, but could have been one of the easier mechanics to balance out.

 

Nabbed 8 Machop after work and got my Machamp. Only Grimer left for 5k eggs.

Got Aerodactyl and Porygon over the past 2 days! Up to 149!

 

Hatched a Hitmonchan today! I'm now at 140 caught.

 

Sweet all I have left is Hitmonlee and Chansey. Then 2 babies Magby and Elekid.

 

Are him and Hitmonlee in 10k's i'm guessing?
