Guys...I might have had too many drinks last night and had to bike downtown to get my truck this morning. I went five miles in 20 degree weather thinking I could get some good mileage in. Phone froze and shut off a mile in. It's literally too cold to play the game.

 

Damn. Didn't get a Charizard, Venusaur, or Blastoise

 

Caught my first Omanyte ever last weekend... now I'm already to 43 candies. I love when nests pop up.

 

Annnd went from 0 Omanyte candies to 50 in less than two weeks. That knocks a lot off of my list that I didn't think I'd get. Still haven't found a single Kabuto somehow.

Until I find one, i need:
62 Dratini
30 Machop
26 Geodude
22 Grimer

Then I'm done with evolves... Still need Lapras, Chancey, Hitmonchan and Aerodactyl though. Sloooowly getting closer. Just ten more available guys from Gen 1.

 

I miss my buddies Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur. We were just getting close

 

Needed like 105 Bulbasaur candies. Only got about 12. Picked the wrong time to get my wisdom teeth yanked.

I need Charmander candies the most. It'll be four years at this rate.

 

I already had the three starter evolutions but I still managed to scrape up about 50 candies of each. Saw one Charizard but my app froze so I said fuck it.

 

I guess at least I got them to walking distance. If I can walk my koffing to a weezing after catching just one, I can do this.

Just sucks that I'll also have to do it for seel and Grimer too

 

Yeah. I had evolved Venusaur before the event and caught a 190CP Blastoise awhile back (and a stronger one during the event), so Charizard was the only one I was missing. Saw Charmander the least, naturally. Bulba is pretty common around here.

 

I know I shouldn't be at this point, but I'm genuinely shocked that Seel is so rare for some people! I've probably ignored enough wild Seel to get me to 2 Dewgongs!!!

Never seen one. Hatched like four of them to get to Dewgong. Same with Machop, I'm 30 candies away from a Machamp and every bit of that has been from hatching.

 

I'm not sure how close you are, but Rockburn used to be a nest a month or so ago. 7/7 for me , but then it changed.

 

definitely don't care enough to drive to a nest for this game, lol

 

Completely understandable. My parents live 3 miles away so it wasn't a big deal for me.

 

Hm, I see a lot of Seel/Dewgong. Must be a regional thing for me

 

At this point, if I got word of an Aerodactyl nest within driving distance nearby I'd literally learn to drive then drive there & get one just so I can finish this game.

 

Before too long, I'll be in the same boat. Walking to get Muk, Machamp, and Golem right now which I'll get pretty soon.

Then, it'll be walking for 62 Dratini candies and five 10k guys I have yet to find/hatch... Ugh. Not going to lie though, I heard of a spot near my work that spawns Dragonites a handful of times a week, so I've been swinging by on my way home. haha.

 

i've seen two shelder, one seal, no ponyta except eggs, no voltorb or magnemite except for eggs

 

I've seen Voltorb and Magnemite a ton at my grandparents' down in Florida, but never up here.

I'm at caught 1 and hatched 1 on Seel. Caught two on Kabuto. One on Omanyte. Currently walking Machoke, but will have to also do it with Graveler, Kadabra, and Dragonair as well as the three above. And Charmander.

 

Are Grimer really rare as far as hatching goes? Hatched over 200 eggs now and haven't gotten one. I would reeeeally like to not have to walk him for another 22 candies.

 

Think the starters are still around...seeing a Wartortle on my sightings.

 

NYC has tons of electric types.
