Oh okay, cool. Do you get alerted when your pokemon wins battles too?

 

No. You get nothing but the ability to go into the shop and claim fairy dust and pokecoins once every 21 hours.

 

I've used incense on someone else's lure (four, actually - there's a spot in a park nearby where you can stand hit four pokestops at once and they're almost always lured) and I caught Pokemon nonstop. And it was noticeably a few more than when my incense ran out and I was still using the lures.

 

I don't know if i've seen it officially announced. But from firsthand experience having that a few times in the park, It definitely increases the amount of pokemon that appear including ones I don't usually see.

 

I've taken over I think 4 before and i've battled a few for fun here and there. I am trying to have at least one of each in my bag and transfer all my duplicates except the two Pidgeots cause they're both pretty strong and I use them for battling. But the the most fun for me is the catching.

 

I gloom at 693CP. It works so well against all these Vaporeon in the gyms around here. I just wish it was stronger. Grass pokemon really got the shaft in the early stages of this game.

 

Do you get any more candies when you transfer higher CP Pokémon, or more highly evolved versions? Or is it just the same across the board for say Evee/Vaporeons?

 

Only 1 candy no matter what you evolve, unfortunately.

 

Well that kinda sucks

 

Pokemon are harder/higher CPs to catch now that I am a higher level, and I don't get extra candy for catching or transferring the higher level ones, so it just seems like a downhill battle

 

I have 20 pokemon ready to evolve, am at level 16 currently and almost halfway to my next. I have a 2 and 5 km egg nearing hatching. I was going to go for a walk at lunch today and get crazy XP n shit, but now the servers are down. wtf.

 

Fully agree. You should get incremental rewards for higher CP level captures.

It is such a pain in the ass to watch a level 98 weedle break out of a great ball just because I am a level 19 trainer.

 

Is Pokémon GO down or not?

 

Every one of my friends asks me why I like Articuno so much when the other birds are technically better. Mind Reader-Sheer Cold combo that's why dammit

 

What's everybody's highest CP Pokemon?
Mine is a 1632 Vaporeon, followed by a 1438 Exeggutor.

 

Mines a 500CP Vaporeon

 

1520 Exeggutor for me

 

898 Flareon

 

236 Growlithe and it makes me so sad.

 

I'm pissed cause I had a 190CP Evee. Caught one more, transferred it. Had enough candies to evolve my 190CP one. Evolved to Vaporeon. Next Pokémon I caught was a 270 Evee. Son of a bitch.

 

1029 Vaporeon, but I have a couple close to evolution that I think are going to clear that

 

1240 golduck

 

Whhhaattt, that's awesome.

 

1418 Flareon that I named Guy Fieri.

 

Hatched an Electabuzz out of my 10k egg last night. Low CP, but it was cool.
