This curveball shit is super annoying. For some reason I notice it wayyyy more with Great Balls. I just wasted so many because they kept curving way to the side even though my finger was going perfectly straight.

 

I AM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE.

I thought I just became really bad at the game..

 

I thought the wind factored into how the balls curved. I notice whenever it's very windy, the balls tended to curve more often, and you had to compensate for that.

 

Mine is at 940CP with a 12 and a 50. I wish they would incorporate a way to either A) ensure that a Pokémon learns more powerful moves when it evolves or B) allow users to "teach" moves to Pokémon like in the old games.

Does anyone else recall the unrivaled glory of the move FISSURE from the 1st generation games?

 

My local minor league baseball team is doing the Pokemon Go promotion this weekend. You can get up to 20% off on any merch in the store based on your level and $5 seats if you show your PokeDex. They also have 5 Pokestops around them so easy way to rack up some items.

I love minor league baseball so much.

Was facing a CP 700 cloyster when the pokeball freeze glitch happened. So fucking pissed this is still an issue 2 weeks into the release of this stupid game. Get more/better servers.

I feel like I've noticed this as well and have read similar reports. Living by the sea coast sucks because of it :P

Man, idk how so many people have Pokemon leveled up past 1k, my highest is a 675 Flareon

 

Yeah I just confirmed the weather impacts the gameplay on multiple fronts. I'm at work and usually all I have around me are Pidgeys and Ratatas, but it started raining and Psyducks, Magikarps, and Tentacools appeared. Even the Pokémon capture screen was raining. It's pretty cool to be honest.

 

The curveball method becomes helpful with more difficult pokemon

 

Level 17 currently with 66 seen/64 caught.

 

Haha, that's awesome. My work is a gym, which is hilarious cause it's a state office. They had to send out an email warning all employees about extra foot traffic/drivers

 

Nice! Who are the two you've seen but not caught? And also, how in the world did you get a Rhydon? I got a Rhyhorn from an egg but otherwise nothing.

 

Rhydon showed up when I was in a park near my job. 3 pokestops within 200 meters of each other all had lures going and I had incense. probably my best night of catching i've had. I haven't even found a Rhyhorn yet haha. I also caught Weezing before I caught a Koffing.

And the two that evaded me were Kingler and Tauros. I also had a Butterfree already but I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing and accidentally transferred it instead of powering up.

 

I want that Gloom

 

My friends: all stoked they are nearing level 20 and have all these high 900-1000 CP pokemon.

me: I'm barely level 8 and I'm happy I caught a 160 cp Growlithe.

 

The one I have right now was caught at that CP level. I had a first one I evolved but it was only a CP390 or around there.

 

Damn, that thing is gonna be a monster.

 

My Charmander was my first Pokemon and he is my weakest :(. I will never have a Charizard.

 

Do you go to gyms a lot?

I find myself not saving Pokémon in my "bag" if I am not planning to evolve them, or use them to fight.

 

can anyone confirm if incense/multiple lures stack?

 

When you leave a Pokémon at a gym, do you ever get them back?

 

Yes, once they get beat up and the gym is no longer yours it is automatically returned. You just need to revive it.
