Pokemon Go does anything: people disssapointed.


Introducing all the babies is kinda a great way to segway into Gen 2 honestly, it connects G1 easily for people who never have seen G2

 

Wait, the Christmas event is just Pokemon with christmas-y hats? lmao

 

These are the G2 babies for those that don't know

Pichu, Togepi, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Magby, Smoochum, Tyrogue and Elekid

 

Everyone complains about Gen 2 and swears off the game entirely because of it. Niantic surprises everyone and starts out with two new pokemon. Everyone complains it's not enough. Take a moment of reflection and see if maybe you just enjoy playing devil's advocate online.

 

Kinda dumb.

 

Lol I don't care about the Gen 2 stuff. I personally don't want them to come at all. Just a little bummed if the Pikachu thing is all they have planned for the Christmas event. Though I'm sure they will announce something else closer to the date.

 

I don't really have much of an opinion on it, but I was kind of looking forward to having so many new things to get at once like at the beginning of the game. I suppose they probably won't release the whole generation in tiny little waves tho

 

I'm very happy that there is some new ones but I definitely hope all of gen 2 rolls out soon

So I'm assuming it'll now be impossible to hatch Pikachu, etc

 

Babies are dumb, glad I stopped playing, join me everyone, it's great

Yeah exactly. I'm opposed to playing with the release of Gen 2 because I still want to get Gen 1 completed. These new Pokemon don't hinder my chances of getting the Pokemon I still need so I really don't care that much... I just want a Lapras dammit!!! If they make an event where the Pokestops release nothing but 10k eggs, I'm in. haha.

If I'm being honest though, I haven't played much the last few weeks anyways so I kind of forgot about all this stuff. I've been traveling like crazy so walking around catching Pokemon has been the least of my priorities. haha.

I thought what I just read was they're starting with Togepi and Pichu, and then over time rolling out more?

 

Finally caught a Snorlax!!! I've had such a shitty weekend and this put me in a great mood. 1300 CP even better.

(Also I like the idea of the babies, I think it's a good way to slowly introduce new Pokes instead of flooding it all at once)

 

So is it just Togepi and Pichu available right now?

 

And what level eggs will they be?

Gen 2 is the best one IMO so this makes me happy, although it's odd that Gen 1 isn't complete
