Thundershock + Thunder?! Fucken h8 u right now...

 

It would be cool to have your pokemon learn different moves, but IMO they'd have to make it hard to obtain the good ones else everyone would have the top ones & blow through gyms easy. Like, Solar Beam would need 100 candies to be learned, or something?

 

Having the same rarity to find as a 10k egg is how I think it should be

 

Agreed. Now that I need one of the fuckers I cannot find one for the life of me. It's genuinely impacting my playing in a negative way!

Got nine 5km eggs atm and need nothing that they offer

 

I hatched a Grimer today. Got 34 candies. That was cool.

 

Hatched another 10k egg while trick or treating with my kids. Fucking Eevee. I am almost done with this game.

 

I was thinking it was more like you receive a move and can only teach it to one Pokemon that had the potential learn it. So, basically, if you could get Solar Beam or something, it would be super rare or difficult to get, then you could only teach it to one Pokemon. Just a thought. But with the terrible and repetitive mechanics of the battles of this game, I don't know why I would expect them to make any significant updates to it. haha. It's gone virtually unchanged since the game came out.

 

So this Halloween promotion runs THROUGH November 1st? I thought it ENDED on November 1st.

Guess that means I'll be running around like a chicken with my head cut off this evening trying to make the most of it!

Only 70 candies away from another Gyrados because of this promo. Pretty sweet.

 

Just hatched a Dratini that put me seven candies away from a Dragonite. Crazy to me. It took me months to even see a single Dratini when the game first came out.

 

There's a local place where Magikarp, Slowpoke, and Psyduck spawn together every few minutes. For like a week, they added Dratini to it so I got up to a Dragonair in one evening (it's at a bar) and haven't seen one since. I've also seen one Omanyte and one Kabuto pop up there.

 

still haven't seen/encountered a single grimer/dratini

holding out hope that this 10k egg finally hatches my an aerodactyl.

 

Egg hatch then evolution ftw! 130 in the dex.

 

Still hoping I can hatch a couple of eggs before this thing's over. I wish I hadn't been quite so busy while this thing was going on. The weather has been perfect around here but it's basically dark when I get off of work.

 

I was sick in bed yesterday so I missed out on candies, but just hatched a lickitung!

 

Is the event finishing up today?

 

I know location isn't supposed to impact egg hatches but my only two good 10k hatches were downtown and the other 7 trash ones were near my house. I'm close to hatching another one but it's going to be near my house if I want to take advantage of double candies...not sure what to do

 

Still gonna play occasionally but I think i'm finished for the most part. Never gonna finish the dex 'cause I wont be able to get Aerodactyl, Scyther & Chansey as I have 9 5km eggs and only 1 incubator, and would have to pray that any pokestop I spin gives me a 10km when I have space to receive one and not a 2 or 5. Unless they pop up in the wild of course, and without a tracker I cannot be bothered to aimlessly search!

Will still post ITT though 'cause it's been a blast lol.

 

I have 2 Chansey and see Scythers all the time here. It still amazes me how different the game is for everybody depending on location.

I need 12 Pokemon to complete the game as is. Probably not happening TBH.

 

I just caught my second one yesterday. Never hatched one, never seen Dragonair or Dragonite .

 

10K egg..... Scyther.

 

I got up to 122. I have four or five of the level 3 evolutions still which I could realistically finish up... It would just take me a while.

A lot of the others are things I would have to hatch (Grimer, Porygon, Chancey, Onix, etc.) so actually getting those would be completely luck. 10k eggs are not the easiest to get and even when you do, your odds of getting anything you need are still slim, so there is a VERY small chance I would ever be able to finish out.

 

I got Porygon and Grimer out of 5K fwiw

 

That gives me hope. I have a couple more incubators left. I've caught one Grimer, so if I really wanted to kill some time I could walk him for 47 candies. haha.

 

I saw a Grimer shadow last night but couldn't find it
