After all the effort I put in yesterday to get Muk, of course I hatch a Grimer with 30 candies first thing this morning...

I realized that 5km eggs are totally & utterly useless to me now; anything I need will be from 2km & 10km eggs. So, with that in mind, guess what egg is by far the most common for me - the 5km egg! Of FUCKING course!

 

you don't deserve anymore 10k eggs after you transferred the lapras you monster

 

It was my 3rd one!!! I almost got rid of the weakest of the remaining two also, but had a change of heart & kept it lol.

I've been on fastpokemap all morning just filtering the ones I need and pressing scan - fucking hopeless; I doubt there's ever been a wild Aerodactyl down here ever!

 

So many Gastly and Cubones...

My last few eggs have been absolute garbage. I hatched TWO Eevees from 10k eggs yesterday (I have caught 385 Eevees in this game, by far my most common Pokemon). This morning, two 5k eggs hatched: Gastly and Cubone. Are you kidding me?? Then another 10K hatched, Magmar. This is my third one. I could use Chansey, any of the fossils, either of the Hitmons, or Jynx, but I just got garbage.

I made Magikarp my buddy and it has been finding candies like crazy. I'm up to 322.

I'm up to 126 caught and level 27.

 

I still need Chancey, Onix, the Hitmons, both of the fossil guys, Lapras, Aerodactyl, and over 100 more Dratini...

You know what I've hatched? 2 Eevees, 2 Pinsirs, 2 Scythers, 2 Jynxes, and 1 Electabuzz... The Electabuzz being the only one I didn't already have 100+ candies for.

Seriously, that's so much time wasted with only ONE! egg paying off since I started this game.

 

I'd quit playing if I hatched a Jynx out of a 10k - that thing is looking up at the bottom of the barrel as far as trash pokemon are concerned (along with that one that's literally a sentient set of keys from one of the next generations )

 

You have no idea. Our most popular park in town used to be a Scyther nest and then swapped to a Jynx nest. I've seen 35 Pinsirs and 260 Eevees... My rage has increased with every hatch. haha.

I have one more currently incubating that will hatch before the special is over, and I'm not even joking, I will quit if I don't get something I need out of there. If not, I will have had a 10% success rate with 10k eggs... 12 of the 25 Pokemon I still need come from there!

 

so the audio thing is a glitch? super annoying that i can't listen to music and hear the audio from the game aanymore...seems to be one or the other.

 

Whenever I open the app it just lowers the volume of whatever else I have playing.

I found that if someone is driving and using Waze, and listening to music, then you open P GO, once Waze says "vehicle stopped on shoulder" or any other alerts, the volume goes back to normal.

 

I need 6 more - 4 come from the 10km group, and Venusar & Charizard are both 99 candies away Kabutops is 20 candies away and there's no way I'll be able to do it before it goes back up to 5km per candy

 

I feel ya. I was reeeaally hoping to hatch a 10k that was either Dratini, Kabuto, or Omanyte so that I could double up on those candies. You could probably evolve the fossil ones with one hatch considering how many candies you get from hatching this weekend.... Too bad I got another Eevee

 

I got an Eevee too. It's just bad luck and is annoying when you have no control over it!!! I wish you could throw away eggs too so I can get rid of all the 5kms I keep getting.

My theory is, the game kinda gives you pokes that you are close to evolving in eggs - e.g. I hatched a Voltorb, Growlithe and Doduo today because I was close to 50 candies for all of them and the hatches pushed me over what was needed for evolving. Therefore, if I collect shitloads of candies from all pokemon without evolving any of them, the game will recognize I have enough Eevee candies or whatever and give me something of what I need. That's the last shred of hope i'm hanging to lol

 

Haha I'm not sure, but I think it just gives you things to piss you off. For example, I played this game for months to get an Arcanine and finally got him a few weeks ago. Out of my last batch of eggs since since Tuesday, I've hatched THREE Growlithes. I now have three Arcanines.

I also only have 3 Grimer candies and 0 Voltorb candies. It is strange.

 

i feel like the dialed down the spawns today. didn't encounter much on my way to work.

 

I listen to podcasts all the time while playing but now they just made the volume much lower when I have the poke app open. It's annoying because I gotta up the volume to hear the podcast properly and all the sound effects are very loud in the game. (I turned the pokemon music off so maybe thats part of your problem not being to hear it at all). I guess I could turn the SFX off but I keep the game in my pocket most of the time and wont be alerted when new pokemon are in the area.

 

This was my exact problem but no one else seemed to care because their SFX had always been turned off. Any time I'm out playing it's because I'm out running or biking so my phone is in my pocket or attached to something. The headphones are the only way I know if anything is close.

But beyond that, my original point still stands... Why are they even messing with this stuff in the first place?! Fix other things before you make existing things worse. haha.

 

Guessing you have an iPhone? This has always been an issue on Android and Pokemon Go, sadly. Really annoying.

I have to open the app, switch to my open apps, and hit play again, before going back to my already-opened Pokemon app.

 

Still doing my Charizard march over here, guys...10 candies obtained in 24 hours without much trying. 74 still candies needed.

Can't wait until I can bust out some real miles over the weekend.

 

Hit up a charmander nest and got 2 of them before my phone went from 55% to 1% in an instant.

Also every single thing I've caught today have been in the last tier of IVs. What's up with that? I just want a good cubone for once.

 

I noticed that too with all of these Halloween Pokemon. I caught over 20 Ghastly to evolve a good Gengar but I realized that was pretty useless lol not like I'll use him anyway.

 

2 Mile walk today at lunch, hatched a Lickitung and Pinsir. Sweet.
