Fairly certain this game destroyed my battery. Literally. The battery is expanding and pushing the back of my phone off.

 

Usually some Pokemon will sporadically pop up when I'm just sitting at work but I've had it open all morning and have only seen like 2 things :(

 

Will hopefully evolve all of these in the next week by walking:

Pikachu: 34/50
Jigglypuff: 41/50
Mankey: 40/50
Growlithe: 36/50
Bellsprout: 81/100
Koffing: 27/50
Dragonair: 46/100

 

And how are you doing that?

 

For me:

Pikachu 50/50 (just got this today)
Sandshrew 40/50
Clefairy 39/50
Meowth 47/50
Mankey 33/50
Drowzee 33/50
Cubone 47/50


A lot of these I'll probably catch before I walk them to evolution, but I have a lot close to the end.

 

I don't know what he does, but you can typically switch between Wi-Fi and cellular and get some movement in.

 

Already got a Muk and Marowak today. Diglett's my buddy right now so hopefully I can evolve it today or tomorrow. Currently at 118/123.

 

2K eggs today sucked.

Jiglypuff, Magikarp, Rattata. Bleh.

 

Literally just had it open sitting on my desk and my guy were periodically walking around.

My 10K egg during double candy week was an Eevee. I feel so defeated.

Also can confirm the new update breaks the battery. Just went for a run with the app as the only thing open. No music or anything. From about 98% to 1% in about half an hour. Wen't from 56% to under 10% in less than 3 minutes.

 

Same with the 10k Eevee. Ugh.

What is up with the battery thing? I was at 90% battery this morning when I got to work and have only opened the app a few times (GPS doesn't register down here) and now I'm sitting at 40%.

 

Bought 5 incubators. I'm hooked again.

 

Alright so, are candies supposed to be doubled for your buddy? Or they just made the walking distance for earning 1 candy half of what it was? cause my Charmander is finding them one at a time.

Something to do with every time you click on a Pokemon it has to redownload the model. Hence the glowing white orbs every once and a while. Or maybe it's something else. Either way I hope they fix it fast. Pretty lame to put out an event but make it unplayable at the same time haha

 

It takes 1/4 of the distance to get a candy nwo

 

I've had mine open the past few hours and only went from 90% on my battery to about 72%.

It does seem distance registers easier some how. There's been a few times where just opening the app gives me some distance. I'll be at .7 of .75 and open the app and it automatically goes to .75.

Just got a Hypno finally and hatched a slowpoke that gave me enough for a slowbro. I'm so into this game right now that for the first time since launch I'm actually about to go out specifically to play.

 

I don't really play this anymore but I fucking hate the people on social media, when something posts about Pokemon Go, that say "Oh that's still a thing?" or "What's that?".

Shut the fuck up. No one cares that you don't play it anymore. We all know you did play it... and we all know you only played it because you're a sheep, you ass.

You're not even stating that you don't play anymore because they didn't ake advantage of updating the game regularly (my personal opinion) you're just being an ass.

I don't know that gets on my nerves so much but it truly does

 

I wish it wasn't so damn rainy here today so I could go play for awhile after work. Luckily some random person just lured a Pokestop I can hit from my desk at work :)

 

Hatched two charmanders since last night, pokegods looking out for me

This also kills my battery. Left home with 90% battery, got about 20 minutes into my walk and was down to 1%. It jumped from 88 to 58 and then to 35 in the span of like 15 minutes. Maybe my phone battery is just toast to begin with.

I don't know man. I'm seeing a lot of people reporting battery issues like that since the update.

 

Am I an asshole? I just hatched a 10k egg that was a 1660cp Lapras and I got legitimately mad and transferred it the fuck outta my sight immediately. I feel like a bit of an asshole seeing as Lapras are so rare & sought after?
