Pumped that half of my hatches lately have actually been useful. Got an exeggcute this morning. Hopefully I get a few more good things this week.

 

This is another moment where it really sets in how different every area is

All I see is Exeggcute and for like the first month of playing Exeggutor was my strongest pokemon

 

Only saw my first wild Exeggcute today! Rest have been hatches. My hatches were great last week, this week they've been awful; hatched 5 goldeens in 4 days I think, a fucking joke.

 

I've seen one. It's pretty pitiful how little the diversity is here.

It rained while I was in NYC the other day (third time its happened now) so I didn't really get to play much. When I did get to, it was all Pidgeys and shit. Lower East Side has a lot of Pokestops, but no diversity. Gotta get back to Central Park.

 

I have 5 2 km eggs, which is super annoying, but I guess this week is as good a time as any to get them since we're getting double candies

 

Yeah exactly. Like I accidentally hatched a 2k egg yesterday which was a Magikarp (and I desperately need those). If I would have hatched that egg tomorrow, I would have gotten like 30 candies out of it.

 

This was a really convenient time with the nest migrations, charmander nest is only fifteen minutes away. Only spawns 2-3 per hour but it's worth it for waking for my Grimer/eggs too

 

Gonna get my Muk today, Venusaur tomorrow (or today if I get crazy) and be done

Also noticed that after updating all of my pokemon appear as glowing orbs, including my buddy. What is this?

 

Some sort of glitch that people have been complaining about. Also, a bunch of people's avatars have been turning into shadows?

On my app, the Pokemon start out as glowing orbs and then pop up... Yet another useless change that doesn't work.

 

Maybe tomorrow they'll all be in Halloween costumes.

My town had 4 Weedle, 4 Ratata, and a Venonat

 

TIL that the whole city of Chicago is asleep.

 

That's probably the same amount of total Pokémon I've ever seen

 

I'm finding a lot of success by going to nests according to silph road, or local beaches or parks I know have diverse pokes spawning.

 

For anyone who thinks it's too much work, I just successfully evolved my Grimer into a Muk after walking it a total of 75 km. It took 22 days to do so.

 

Can't wait to get a Gengar soon!

there are cubone and marowak everywhere for me so it looks like they were included

 

Opened it up, immediately saw a Ghastly. Charmeleon started picking up candies too? Not sure how that works yet.

 

Apparently you get candies every .25km. For pikachu at least
