Halfway to hatching my 10k and I'm feeling a Lapras like all you guys...but even if not, I'm like the only one in here that would be happy about getting an Onix.

 

I'm on 9.2 of 10k and I have everything from the group except the hitmons and Lapras but I could use stronger versions of any of them. Except eevee. Please no eevee

 

never been proven. Most people just believe everything is 100% random for eggs

 

I have my first 10K incubating that I didn't get from the stop at my park so if it's something good I'll be pretty confident that there's something to it. Even though I realize it could be completely coincidence.

 

Yeah I mean... literally tens of thousands of eggs have been tested over at reddit, all is random haha

 

I'd fucking pay to have Weedles removed from this game. Zubats too. Like, not even have another pokemon spawn in it's place, just whenever a Weedle or Zubat is gonna spawn, nothing spawns instead...

 

for halloween week, starting the 26th, you'll get twice as many candies for catches & transfers and your buddy poke will find candy 4x faster. also more of the gastly, drowzee, and zubat lines will appear.

 

Time to run a marathon and stock up on Drowzees, I guess.

 

Holy shit this could be huge for people's pokedexes if they get some good hatches.

So many decisions about the buddy now.

 

I just got a Gengar this past week. Cool for those who don't have them, I guess.

Hopefully they bring out gen two before christmas and we just see a ton of Delibirds.

The release of Gen 2 is pretty much my official end of this game. I'm trying to get as much of this Pokedex complete as I can and it's still hard to come by certain things, so I can't imagine when all of these other common Pokemon get introduced. Besides the fact that I'm not familiar with anything past Gen 1, so that doesn't raise my interest anyways.

 

I'm excited for gen 2, but it is definitely going to make a lot of folks leave the game. It's a shame too, since there are so many that I'm looking forward to seeing going forward. We may never make it to gen 3.

 

Yeah, unfortunately. I feel like if they would have given me more time to work out the buddy system or done more special things like this Halloween week thing, I would have considered still playing since those would have helped me up my numbers a bit. As much time as I've sunk into this game, I still haven't really been able to manage getting past 112.

Edit: But on another note, if I can get 4 candies for every 1K, I'll be running like 10 miles a day with a Magikarp.

 

Jesus christ, MORE Zubats & Drowzees?

On the plus side, I got a Marowak today thanks to a Cubone hatch - 10 to go!!! Definitely gonna make Graveler my buddy if there's double candies. Or Charmander.... OR BULBASAUR?! HOW DO I CHOOSE?! GRIMER?!

 

The more I thought about it, I think I'm just going to stick with walking my Charmeleon. I already walked him 41.7k, so I might as well try to get him as close as I can to Charizard. After that, I'll switch to Magikarp since he only requires 1k to get candy.

 

This will actually get me going again. Maybe walks at night after class. Finally going to get that Ninetales.

 

Did the math and I'll need to go 42 miles to get to Charizard. I think it's doable.

 

Will not participate past Gen 1. I'm losing interest as it is with my dex at 127 right now.

How many am I supposed to realistically get in the US?

 

gen 2 will make it more fun because there will be more variety in catches, diversity makes it more fun

 

It'll be nice to be able to catch something other than the 5 types I have maxed out.

bug, poison, flying, normal, and water can all fuck off.

 

Damn, I just noticed that you also get double candies for everything you HATCH as well... Which means you could get a shit ton of candies if you hatch the right things. I guess maybe I should invest in some incubators....

I can't see myself being interested in Gen 2. Gen 1 was such a big part of my childhood but I suddenly stop being interested once 2 came out.

 

wow if egg candies are doubled I'm definitely dropping cash on some Incubators

even though they'll be nothing but Weedles, Parases, and Eevees
