drunk-caught a Porygon last night, first one i've ever seen. 125 now - with some fortunate egg hatches over the next week I should be close to 130 soon!

 

Something I thought about yesterday that really bugs me is that every Pokemon you catch is worth the same amount of candy. I've always wished that were different because as it stands, there's hardly any incentive to catch evolved wild Pokemon.

Say you come across a decently strong Ivysaur but already have one... You have to use far more balls to catch it and its CP is probably higher than any Bulbasaur, but it's still only worth 3 candies. I wouldn't go as far as the eggs do as giving you 10 or 15 candies, but at least if stronger ones were worth 4 or 5 it would give you more incentive to keep tracking them down to find stronger ones.

Finally got my 7. Turned the app on at my apt and had a Tauros in my living room. It's like it knew it had to throw me a bone.

 

Just saw and caught my second one. Funny how this game works sometimes.

 

Got a Dragonite at last - 2205cp!!! My first pokemon over 2000, but I'm still upset it only got Dragon pulse instead of HyperBeam!

 

Alakazam is terrible. But he's 121 in the dex for me.

caught a pretty strong grimer randomly the other day, so thats my new walking buddy. Also my first 3km buddy... this is gonna take forever lol

 

Only caught a few Koffings, but I just ran to Walmart on my lunch break and came across a Wheezing! That was a nice one to add to the dex.

Also saw an Omanyte silhouette, but couldn't track it down.

 

Got an Exeggutor now so that's 127/128. Real chance I can hit 130 by weeks end as I'm 1 Squirtle from a Blastoise, 1 Bulbasaur from Ivysaur, 1 Magnemite from Magneton & close to a few others too. Love this game!

 

Saw a Porygon on the radar. Ran out of class and found it almost right away. I'm on cloud 9 right now.

 

I put a Dugtrio in a gym today. It's still there by itself lol.

 

Saw a wigglytuff shadow today but :/

 

I'm getting really good at seeing something on my radar and driving around until I find it. If it's near my house, I know every spawn point. Otherwise, I have a good idea of the radius I need to check.

 

Level 24 with 110 caught. I really fell behind everyone

 

25 and 102, I got a random Machoke the other day but all my eggs have been trash since I ran out of 10k's.

 

We're pretty much the exact same

 

Just hit 112, but that was thanks to finally getting a lucky hatch and then randomly catching a Wheezing yesterday. Really need to find myself one more Slowpoke.

 

Switched buddies from Raichu to Bulbasaur and it takes so friggin' long to get one candy! I need 4 candies to evolve but that will take me 12km. Oh, and then 300km to get a Venusaur

 

Shouldn't it only be 1K per candy?

 

Bulbasaur is 3km for one candy!

 

Well damn. I thought it was based on egg groups. Oh well. I'm at 60K walked with my Vulpix and only have 37 candies.
