Same for me the whole time i've been playing this game. 99% of lures I put down bring more of those same pokemon too
It's like, throw me a fucking Sandshrew every once in a while PLEASE!

 

Got the dreaded 10K egg Eevee this morning. But I finally got more eggs from some stops yesterday. For some reason I had only gotten 2 eggs in the past 3 weeks from all the stops

 

I've kind of officially quit this game unless I travel to the States or Europe.

Nothing different ever spawns, I need Revives and almost never get them, egg hatches are always disappointing, my right thumb hurts from raking Pidgeys.

The magic wore off and life feels empty.

 

I think it's exciting when nests change. I'm going to an Exeggute and Vulpix nest later tonight. I'm at 124.

 

I have FOUR 10km eggs incubating atm. If this doesn't get me a Lapras and/or a Scyther then I quit.

 

Just caught a Weezing.... after walking my Koffing for 30+ km, haha.... oh well

need Muk, Venusaur, Lapras.

 

Local park turned into an Omnamyte nest, so that's pretty sweet. Also caught my first Snorlax and Electabuzz yesterday. Probably my best week for this game haha. Up to 122

 

Saw a weezing silhouette on the way home. Man if I caught everything that I see on the bus I'd be pretty much done.

 

If I evolve a Pokemon, and thus discovering a new one, does that give you 500XP, or only if you catch it? I have a bunch to evolve and want to use an egg.

 

If I remember correctly it's 500 for evolve + 500 for new so it'll be 1000. I could be wrong though, someone else take the wheel.

 

Plus with an egg, it'll be 2000. You can see my reservations for waiting.

 

Yup exactly. It'll be 2000 if you also use an egg. How many new evolves do you have pending?!

 

Just 5. Jugglypuff, Goldeen, Krabby, Gastly, and Exeggcute. One catch away from evolving Abra which would bring it to 6.

 

I forgot lucky eggs were a thing. I haven't tried leveling up in months.

I think I'm about plateaued in this game now, unfortunately. I'm four candies away from a Charmeleon, but that's the last evolution I'm close to. Everything else I am 30+ candies away from evolving (or 50+ away on the secondary evolutions), but it's all from things I almost never see. Topped out at 109.

 

I just need a fuckin Lapras then the other two are easily within reach, at the very least by walking buddies

 

I don't have an Onix, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Lapras, Chancey, Kabuto/Kabutops, Omanyte/Omastar... Still need Dragonair/Dragonite. Woof.

 

I found a Snorlax on fastpokemap during lunch and it disappeared right as I showed up. I guy started walking briskly beside me and asked if I was also after the Snorlax.

 

evolved a Primate today so 116/116 now. Will hatch my four 10km eggs by week's end too so hoping for an optimistic 118/118.

Edit: fucking PrimeAPE. Also, first 10km egg to hatch was a shitty Onyx at 454cp and 48hp

 

There's a cemetery near my house that closes the gate at 4pm. Their gym is right at the entrance of the gate, and can only be accessed on the inside. I went for the first time at 3:30 to make it red, and when we were almost done, it's 3:45 and a woman that works there rolls up next to me and says, "The gym is closing, okay? We don't appreciate Pokemoning here." Seriously? I can read and know what time you close and we weren't disrupting anything or bothering anyone. People go jogging in cemeteries but that's okay? I don't see why people have such a problem with someone playing a harmless game. As long as you still behave properly in public, I see no issue. Again, we were parked in no one's way, a single car, not bothering anyone. Someone leaving or coming to grieve need pay no mind to why I'm there. Not bothering anyone. What is the big effing deal? People are so uptight.

 

I mean if she knows about the game they've probably had a lot of problems with people coming by and acting inappropriately, or hanging around after they close. Even if you're doing nothing wrong her past experiences have probably soured her on the game entirely, and made her wary of anyone playing it.

 

Hatched my first 10k to find an Eevee so yea good day so far

 

She asked you to leave, it's her business, leave and don't be a bother.

 

I'm at work and there's two Abra's off in the distance and I can't leave to get them!

 

I don't think it's appropriate to be playing Pokemon Go in a cemetery anyways. She had every right to ask you to leave.
