Thanks bro, I tried a few of my pokes but none of them were all that great (mostly in the 70's %). Im just gonna go for dex entries I've decided, so I'm angry I now need loads more Abra candies when I had 100 earlier

 

Just hatched another 10K Onix.

 

I hope I never get a 10k egg ever again. Unless it ends up being Lapras.

I want all the 10k's! Need a Lapras, Scyther, more Dratini, Omanyte & Kabuto candies to evolve them - but we all know I'd just get Pinsir's & Jynx's or some shit...

 

Only 10k I've seen outside of eggs has been Jynx and Dratini, I need to get some of these Pinsirs everyone hates.

 

Something definitely changed with the spawn points. This is what I saw sitting at my desk at work this morning:


It has been like this all morning too. Usually one or two will show up an hour.

I finally got a Charizard the other day as well. Thanks to the buddy system (and a wonky GPS at my office). I gathered about 20 candies just from my GPS re-calibrating. It is great for hatching eggs as well; murder on the battery though.

 

I wonder if eggs are predetermined by where you pick them up. Most of my 10kms have been trash and I've actually picked up 3 of the eggs from the exact same PokeStop in my neighbourhood. Which also leads me to wonder if PokeStops in the middle of nowhere have a better chance of dropping eggs...

 

Reached level 27 this morning. Current squad.

Also saw and caught the first Drowsee I've seen since July. They're rare here.

 

fucking 1500 charizard ran from me after 10 ultra balls yesterday. FUCK THIS GAME WHY DO I PLAY

 

Do you remember what cp your exeggcute and bellsprout were before evolving? I've had both ready to evolve for over a month but havent pulled the trigger because I'm hoping to snag a better one.

 

Good question. My Weepinbell was caught at 1140 CP. My Exeggutor was probably like 1400 when it evolved if I had to guess. I've powered it up a ton.

 

My Bellsprout has perfect attack but the worst possible stamina. What a glass cannon. Gonna wait for a better one haha.

 

I would legitimately quit if that happened to me. haha. I caught a Squirtle yesterday that took 3 Ultra Balls and 7 Great Balls. I was about to lose it. Couldn't imagine a damn Charizard.

Kinda average I guess - hp94, attacks are Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball at 11 & 45 respectively. I used to win battles with it but don't really use it anymore.

Got randomly lucky today & ran into this guy outside of my house...hang in there kids! 117/118.

 

It's been quite a day with this game so far. I hatched a Lapras first thing. Then, the two 5k eggs I hatched were Pokemon I actually needed; included a Pikachu that gave me enough candies to get Raichu. While I was out at lunch hitting Pokestops, a second wild Dragonite appeared for me. I caught it fairly easily. It's not great, but what are the odds of finding two in the wild? I caught a Koffing that left me one candy away from evolving (I am now buddies with Koffing to get that last candy).

Apart from the Dragonite, Jynx, Alakazam, and Onyx have all appeared on my sightings list today. I have never seen any of these before (I was tracking Jynx when Dragonite appeared). There has been a marked increase in rare wilds in my area.

(I also hatched a shiny Shroomish on my Omega Ruby game this morning; but that's for another thread)

Edit: to further illustrate the point about rare wilds, I just caught a CP1088 Starmie.

 

I'm getting tired of not having a Lapras

 

Tell me about it... I just want more than one useful 10k egg out of the nine that I've had. Is that too much to ask?! Pinsirs and Jynxs for days.

 

I'm really tempted to ask my little sister who is studying abroad in Italy to get me a Mr. Mime.
