What does battery saver mode actual do?!

 

Why I oughtaaa

 

If you tilt your phone away from you past maybe 90 degrees-ish, it blackens the screen, so the display doesn't draw in as much power.

It's still dumb that you can't just leave the game running in the background with the screen off.

 

Got a Weezing tonight, evolved after a week of walking a Koffing around. 119/119 in the dex. Gyrados is next. 345 Magikarp candy and I'm going to the beach this weekend.

 

Went shopping after work and saw TWO Snorlaxes on my map but never encountered either. Snorlax loves Walmarts, apparently. Not surprising considering he resembles most of the people that shop there.

I caught my first Snorlax today. Ran .7 miles in 7 minutes through downtown San Francisco in my new Yeezys to catch the motherfucker. I looked at the Go Radar and saw it and saw I had ten minutes and booked it. What a rush!

 

You may be the most obnoxious Pokemon Go player in the world...strictly because of the "new Yeezys".

 

Relevant because it showed how much I wanted that damn Snorlax. Wouldn't normally be running in them, especially since I plan to turn around and sell them for a $750 profit. I'll tell you what isn't obnoxious. $750 profits. Thanks for the compliment though, you're a gem.

Edit: I also have more Pokémon than you so... Now THAT'S obnoxious.

 

Yeah well I'm about to catch my 17th Pinsir. Suck on THAT.

Just checked, I've seen/caught 4/4, mine has Solar Beam bu it's CP is only 267.

 

Haha I told you it shouldn't be a conundrum! You just need to know your priorities.

Are you planning on battling with your Alakazam (even though he's pretty weak at full power) and are planning on still playing the game for a while? Then wait to evolve.

Are you playing the game less and less and just want the Pokedex entry? Just bite the bullet and evolve him.

The bad news - hatched a fucking eevee today. The good news. I'm in two level 10 gyms now. Team Instinct has taken over my town.

 

My apologies BRO! I evolved the Abra in the end and the Kadabra was only about 150cp or so better than my other one, so I kinda goofed there

 

haha I realized I didn't actually care about CP because I only battle with three Pokemon anyways (my strongest has been stuck in a gym for over two weeks). Otherwise I would tell you to get the strongest Alakazam possible. He was always my favorite back in the day besides Hitmonlee (I have neither. Ugh). It's a shame that most of the cool ones are useless in the battles.

 

Yeah, I thought Alakazam was supposed to be hella strong seeing as they were always so tough to battle in the gameboy games. I'm gonna try & get a Raichu that's as strong as possible too - I think my Pikachu needs to be around 800cp before I evolve it for the Raichu to be over 2000cp. My snorlax is my best CP at 1910, Gyarados 2nd at 1892 so I'll battle mostly with them, but Raichu with good moves would be sick.
I think I'd projectile vomit if I did all this work for Raichu to end up with brick break or something...

 

I think my Pikachu had an attack that did 100 damage and then when I evolved it, it turned into Thunder Punch which is only 40... Not good.

Also, the ONLY Dratini I've ever seen/caught is at 100% IV and is at 421CP. I would I could trade it to someone who could actually make use of it.

 

Yeah my Pikachu has got thunder-something at 100 - they should make it so the movesets can never be worse, because the whole damn point of pokemon evolving is, you know, evolving and getting stronger. Don't make us graft for 400 candies to get a Gyarados with bite & twister.

Also, how/where do you check IV?

With my Dratini, when I appraise it, it says it's a "wonder" and then it says "I see that its best attribute is its HP...matched equally by its Attack...matched equally by its Defense". So I get to check all three of those boxes since all three are its "best" attributes. My only Pokemon like that, and it just happens to be the only Dratini I've gotten.

Edit: I also have a Ponyta like that, but its potential stats make it about 87%... The Dratini's CP and Stardust indicate that its potential is actually 100%.

 

I got my only Tangela when I was in Europe, so I think it's cool that the tracker says Milan, Italy.

Which reminds me, last week I saw a gym that had a Mr. Mime and Kangaskhan, how is that possible?
