Either Sunday or Monday I am going on full Lapras-search. I know an area they spawn every so often, but not on a consistent basis I can actually count on.... we'll see

 

Never seen any of those Eevee evolutions in the wild. I actually counted and I've only seen 80 of the 142 you can get in the UK in the wild - a little over 50%. That's not even taking into account the fact that I may have seen some of those 80 only once in two months. 30 of my pokemon have come from eggs only.

I know i'm just complaining but I'd like to see more variation in the wild, like just upping the % chance of 'mid-level' pokemon like Ponyta or Machoke spawning or something.

 

I've made more progress here in the last day than I have in Dallas in a month, hahaha

 

What/where have you been checking out/doing? (Pokemon and non-Pokemon related)

 

Here's the crazy part: I've only used the app while at my hotel hahaha

All I've done so far is drink at Hermosa. More lengthy adventures today/tomorrow

 

just FYI

You are near where I live, I'm in Redondo at Grant/Inglewood.

Rent a bike, bike to Manhattan Beach and Redondo, of the three (Redondo/Hermosa/Manhattan), Manhattan is the best for rare, Redondo is the best for pure mass amount of pokemon and stops EVERYWHERE, and Hermosa is the least exciting hah

 

I think I may actually be going to Manhattan today haha

 

Enjoyyyy, I was there for just 20-30 min last week and I found a dratini and wartortle just hanging around, amongst others

 

Even just Lawndale has a shit ton of stuff I never see. I went from 2 Machops to 2 Machokes since getting here hahaha

Haven't seen a single Pidgey which feels bizarre

Not sure if I've seen it mentioned in here, but I heard that once Pikachu is your buddy for 10km, he moves up to your shoulder on the avatar :D

I've been working waaay too much to play lately, but my work just gave me a fucking 40% raise (on my birthday, no less). I think that's a fair trade off.

Thanks! Our company's policy is usually a 5% max raise, but apparently I impressed some important people at some point.

On another note, my stepmom gave me a Pokemon balloon for my birthday. No shame.

100% accurate for the ones with the pokemon faces, the ones with the colors are unconfirmed

 

Hatched a Slowpoke today so they're currently my buddy. 3k per candy but man I love Slowpoke.

The wedding I'm going to this weekend is at a Charmander nest. Caught 8 at the rehearsal dinner.

 

Just started learning about IVs. Do they relate to attacks at all? I evolved my highest average perfection rate Ponyta (80-something percent) and got Drill Run as the main attack.

 

Using Pikachu as my buddy and actually caught one in the process. Up to 41 candies. Shouldn't be too much longer!
