If that's true, that's ridiculous. I do cardio all the time, but 6 mph is only like a 10 minute per mile pace. I never go out and walk very far for fun. Always run.

 

Ugh I gotta go to Crystal Lake for a Vulpix

 

preach. i usually only turn it on on my runs if i am doing a longer slower run to see if i come across anything rare and to get stops. it is pointless if you are running to try and hatch eggs.

 

Yeah really unfortunate. Like I said, I never just "walk" for fun, so that's basically just forcing you to take waaay longer than necessary to hatch your eggs.

 

I biked last weekend to the beach, along the strand, and back home. Got zero egg movement on my way to the beach, but once I was on the strand and moving slowly with the flow of people, I was getting kms.... kinda a bummer, but oh well

 

I could never text. I fully understand how that hurts people. It requires veering your attention away. I really think clicking on a pokéstop is the equivalent of changing stations or volume of the radio.

 

It's only been a day since I got the update so I'll have to wait a little longer, but I feel like they made it even harder to catch pokemon than it was before.

 

FINALLY saw/caught my first Charmander tonight. I started with one and hatched another so it wasn't new, but man, I can't believe those things are so rare around here.

Just encountered and caught my first Dragonair - 23cp
Luckily, I was only 1 Dratini away from evolving a Dragonair anyway so now I have one at 1083cp!!!

Been walking Geodude for a couple days. I just need 9 candy to get Golem.

 

I've yet to see a Grimer. I get a shit ton of Geodudes, Growlithes and Sandshrews tho

 

Steve I'll trade you my Lapras that was like my 4th pokemon for 40 mon i'm missing in my dex

 

My last eggs have been Ponyta Ponyta goldeen psyduck psyduck magikarp tentacool staryu goldeen, 9 in a row totally useless to me while my dex hasn't moved past 88 in a few weeks. Fuck this game.

yesterday & today was the first time any new silhouettes came up on my 'sightings' list for around 2 weeks & that was enough to increase my enthusiasm for the game a bit (missed Dugtrio & Slowbro but got Dragonair). Now I'm excited to go out on sat & walk 10km to get buddy candies and hatch a 10km egg!!!

Caught a 1641 Vaporeon while riding the bus. Highest I've ever seen in the wild and now my 2nd best. That was a surprise.

Also was creeping some other girl on the bus who was scrolling through her pokemon list and hot damn she had so many good things. Multiple Porygons, Lapras, Snorlax and Aerodactyles. How is that even possible.

Went from only hatching one Diglet to being 2 candies away from evolving. Also, super surprised how quickly I've gotten my Pikachu candy from walking. I'll be able to evolve him on Saturday.

If only my 2k eggs were ever good. I've seriously not gotten anything useful out of the last 15 of my 10k eggs. Still only at 14 Charmander candies.

 

Caught a Slowbro at my favorite water spawn AKA McDonalds. Hadn't even seen more than one Slowpoke, so that was dope.
