I've said it before but i'll say it again - travelling by bus is so fucking annoying. My 8km journey this morning registered 0.2km for my Pikachu buddy. Even when the bus was moving at around walking pace in some areas it just registered no distance.

 

I usually keep a list of all of the Poke I need to complete the National Dex. This time its going to be interesting because the only things on the list are the pokes from the Alola Dex.

Productive hatches today! Finally got a Magnamite, and hatched an Abra. Just need 12 Geodude candies for Golem now.

116/116 in the dex.

 

Just now checked out the single Dratini I've ever caught and it's at 100% IVs. That's pretty neat. Now if I could only find another 50 of them....

 

Kinda hate myself because I lived next to a Gastly nest and was too lazy to go out and catch enough for a Gengar and now it's a damn Drowzee nest

 

dang, i'm knocking on lvl 25's door and my dex is only at 108! there are only 141 you can catch in north america right? i guess i must do most my catching in the same areas... need to go on vacation to somewhere with an ocean or something.

 

Oddly enough, I find more water Pokemon in a McDonalds parking lot than I do by rivers or the ocean. There is a Magikarp spawn and I usually find Slowpoke, Goldeen, or Staryu there.

i've seen nothing until now, i was so excited, hunted it down for half an hour

Had a wild Dragonite show up while sitting at my desk at work this morning. This is the first time I encountered a wild Pokemon with "CP???". It is now my strongest Pokemon.

 

Wow!!

 

my campus has zero pokemon on it

I saw the shadow on the nearby list and was bummed that I couldn't go looking for it. My GPS has had me running all over the map this morning and it happened to stray far enough for it to appear. Overall, an incredibly lucky catch.

A random catch wild Dragonite, at 2000+CP, with the GPS going crazy & sending you places where you aren't? Probably the luckiest catch in the history of the game bro, no exaggeration!

Edit: with Hyper Beam too?! "bah gawd, King!"

 

I'm going to LA today and it's sad how excited I am to play this in a real city

 

Yep. I am still stunned. Dratini are pretty rare by me (I've seen 5), so I figured I would never get a Dragonite.

 

i've still never seen a dratini :(

 

Are there different species available in Canada, or is it North America as a whole?
Will be in Toronto for the weekend and curious if I might find new stuff.
