Yeah, it is a soft release so it will gradually be making it to everyone. The update also makes it easier to tap smaller pokes on the map.

I was coming back from a local beach around 1am and got pulled over for the first time. I was worried he was detaining the four of us in my car from going to get a Pikachu! It was a BS stop. There were kids in the area smoking weed. He made some excuse about the registration stickers on my plate.

Another thing, can someone please advise, I need one more Magikarp for a Gyrados. What's the best way to decide which one to evolve? CP? The little bar around the Pokemon? Appraise? I just want to be 100%.

 

Pokeassistant dot com has a fantastic evolution calculator. My Magikarp is CP174, and according to their math, my Gyrados (I'm still 77 candy away) should be 2100CP, or in that ballpark.

 

I'd go with appraise at this point, followed closely by CP if you need a tie-breaker.

 

I went to one of those online calculators and evolved the one with the highest percent. But you can't choose your moves.

 

Really wish the update would hit. Was hoping to run before the Eagles game.

 

My game glitched or something and I got around 20 Oddish candies fo free.

 

You didn't maybe hatch an egg that didn't show the animation for it?

I hatched 2 Squirtle this morning. Great day so far! 38 Squirtle candy. I have a Wartortle, so almost halfway to Blastoise.

 

That's what ended up happening. The egg hatched wayyyyyy later.

 

Do other companies publish release notes and then not release the update several days going since those notes were published? What an odd practice.

Yes. People with Android can DL the APK file before it is available in the app store.

My friend has it and is currently working to evolve his Grolithe. Grr...

 

Hey. Been meaning to tell you this for awhile, but great avatar. Makes me laugh 9/10 times. So good.

 

Took me a minute you meant transfer and not trading. I thought trading was up already. I just read an article that you'd be able to make trades online so it might not be an only in person thing when it releases. They also mention you can trade potions and candies potentially which is really cool.
