Had a good hunt tonight. Got to level 19. I caught an Omanyte, Porygon, lots of Shellder and Staryu, a 626 cp Pontya, and lots of other not as cool things. Currently working on hatching a 10km egg.

 

I haven't received a 10km egg since the first week or so. Tooooons of 5km, a couple of 2km. The most exciting Pokemon that I've gotten was a Grimer (first I've ever seen). I just love hatching eggs even though almost every one has been uneventful oops

 

This is only my 3rd 10km I have ever gotten. The last one was a 480 Eeevee and the first one was a 387 dratini. Hoping this one is better than the others have been for me.

 

I've gotten more 10K eggs than a lot of people it seems. I'm on my 7th at the moment. Downside of that is I haven't gotten anything worthwhile out of there for all the work it took each time. I've gotten two Pinsirs, two Scythers, a Jynx, and an Eevee. I have 15 Eevee evolutions, 125 Pinsir candies, and I had a local Scyther nest....that just got changed to a Jynx nest. So yeah, all stuff I haven't needed.

 

I wish there was a way to change moves. Spent a whole lot of time gathering Jigglypuffs, and when I finally had enough for a Wigglytuff, it has Pound and Hyper Beam.

Even if it was something simple to maintain the balance, like you pay 25______ candies and it randomly changes one of the moves into another possible option.

 

Found a gym way out in the middle of nowhere on the trail yesterday. Had a free spot available so I dropped my Chardmander in there just to grab the coins real quick.... He's still in there about to redeem more. First time that's ever happened.

I think we're finally slowing down with the game enough where the more obscure gyms won't get touched. Curious to see how winter time is if I'm still playing.

 

Grab as many gyms as you can before the first snowfall and you'll hold them for 4 months.

 

That's essentially what I was thinking haha if it's still summer and hardly any players are coming acrossed the gyms out on the trails, they definitely won't make it out there when it's cold. Especially when you factor in the declining interest.

 

Yeah that probably won't work in Texas haha

After never even seeing a Drowzee silhouette, I just caught one sitting on my couch. Up to 95/95.

 

I don't know..... I grabbed s gym the other night at 2am on a weeknight in a a derelict business complex and 20 minutes later, my Lapras was toast.

 

I wish it told you which gym your Pokemon is in. One of my Vaporeons made it through a whole day but my other Vaporeon didn't. I don't remember which one I put where...

 

I put a Snorlax in a gym downtown all by itself last night at 9pm. It's still there.

 

Yeah my 529CP Charmander is still there too. I think everyone is just scared of him.

 

A neat feature upgrade for this game would be the ability to receive in-game notifications when the Gym your Pokemon is in levels up, and also be able to know which gym you left your Pokemon in. It would be mega handy to have a running list of local gyms in the area, by radius.

 

Finally evolved a goddamn strong Vaporeon after 5 straight flareons. Back when I used "Rainer" it only ended up being 600CP oops

Got a solid Rapidash now too... with Low Kick and Drill Run lol. Somehow have hatched 3 750+ Ponytas.

 

I'm just a few more catches or hatches away to get:

Golem
Victribell
Vileplume
Nidoqueen
Dewgong

At 107/107 today, and going to the beach the next couple of days. Hoping to come home with a Gyrados at least.

 

I've caught at least 4 wild Dewgongs over 1000cp!!!

Haven't played this game in 3 days as we've had a 3-day weekend in the UK, but I have a 10km egg with 0.2km to go before hatching - who want's to bet it's an Eevee?

 

Caught a wild Lickitung in the middle of nowhere. The Pokegods rewarding me for going on a run.

 

Was at a fantasy draft party last night, saw a wild Gengar, four people left to go find it, but nothing.

 

Legit forgot Lickitung was a Pokemon. Never seen him in Wild, in a gym, mentioned in online posts...

 

I've seen one at about 600CP and caught him, luckily. Never seen another one in a gym or seen a silhouette. Doesn't seem like they're too common.

 

I'm at 92/93 and the one that got away was Lickitung.

 

Hatched a third Ponyta for a rapidash, only 1200ish. I have 12 1000+ Hypnos, just caught one and evolved two. I had no strong feelings on the drowzee line until now.
