This is what my inventory would look like if I kept all my Eevee evolutions. I've kept the 2 strongest of each, but I think i've evolved 5 Vaporeons, 4 Jolteons, and 4 Flareons. Needless to say, Eevee can spawn elsewhere and i'd be fine with it.

 

I trade back everything and only keep the best of each evolution... except Eevee, because they are my favorites hah

 

I would trade them all off, but I mean, you can take down pretty much any gym if you line up six Vaporeons. I can't bring myself to get rid of them.

 

Are Vaporeon's strong or something? All mine (3 or 4) have been hella weak & had the worst attack of the 3 evolutions!

 

Anyone else unable to perform the Eevee evolution hack after having all three evolutions on hand?

I keep trying to evolve into a Jolteon using "Sparky" as the Pokémon's name, but it does not work.

One went to Flareon, one went to Vaporeon.

I currently have (3) Jolteons already.

What am I doing wrong?

So in order to guarantee a Jolteon, I have to get rid of all other Jolteons that I currently have?

 

Where are these nest? I've never seen them.

 

Its just an area where lots of the same pokemon spawn I guess. E.G. there is a local park where I live that spawned multiple Scythers a day (did I catch any? Did I HELL!)

 

you cant guarantee an eevee evolution after the first time is what i understood.

 

I'm not sure if this has been talked about before here, but battling here is pretty terrible.

I can't see why it can't be more similar to the classic Game Boy games. The argument I keep hearing is it has to be simpler for the mobile version, but there has to be something better than this tap/tap/dodge mechanism.

Also, what's with Pokemon not gaining CP or the trainer not getting candies from battles?

 

I never battle, hense me not caring about CP

 

Is there a difference between nests and spawn points? I was under the impression that nests were areas where you could find multiple of a certain pokemon all around the area. As opposed to a spawn point of something where you can reliably find the same pokemon a few times a day.

 

There is definitely a difference. For example, there is a pokemon spawn point near my office, it can have any of multiple pokemon, but it's always the same place. The park near my office is a nest for bellsprout now (was previously machop, geodude before that). Inside the park there are somewhere around 5-8 bellsprout that spawn throughout the park within an hour

 

Right. There's a beach in my town that often has a magmar. Never multiple magmars though. Just consistently one every once and a while. Not sure if it counts as a nest or not. Caught my first one today though :)

 

Saw a bunch of silhouettes today of things I had never seen before...but then ran out of balls trying to catch a Bulbasaur. Sad day.

 

Jeezee, I was wondering how my little sister's boyfriend was doing so much better than me and now I know why. Kid's been using an Android emulator with a GPS faker haha. Managed to drop himself somewhere in LA and catch enough Magikarp to evolve a Gyrados in like a day..

 

For those asking how you know if it's a nest... This is a 38 minute time period

 

Are you completely sure that's a nest though? Looks more like.....heaven.

I don't know if I've ever seen that many Pokemon pop up in an hour period, let alone one specific type.

 

The whole world is a pidgey nest.

 

They respawn that often?!?!?!? And to think, I visited that Magikarp nest once or twice a day thinking "yeah, eventually...."

Fuck man.

 

Yeah I've never been in an area where the same Pokemon kept popping up like that.
