Had a super successful day, got five new Pokemon. Including a Kabuto!

 

Just caught a Kingler which provided me with the final Krabby candy to evolve it

 

The game is quite kind to me when it comes to evolutions it seems - every time I'm close to getting the required candies I seem to hatch the relevant pokemon in an egg that gives me enough to evolve & then power up if I wish. Happened with my Nidoking just yesterday!

 

This bad boy has been in a gym here for 26 hours and counting. By far my longest stay in a gym. The gym was level 7 yesterday morning. No idea what it is now but damn.

 

Instinct. Boooooooooooo

 

There was a 2500cp Arcanine in the gym on my street for 2 days. Wasn't mine unfortunately.

 

A 2500 Exeggutor held the gym closest to my house for over 3 weeks. It had a nice supporting cast and is kind of in the middle of nowhere though.

 

Being team instinct kinda stinks sometimes. I get so surprised when I see a yellow gym lol

 

Visiting a friend in Bridgeport, CT this weekend. Caught this guy at the beach.

Lastly, this is the first I've had any sighting of a muk or grimer.



Gave it a valiant effort (took off on foot in the middle of lunch and drinks) but didn't find him.

i find it dumb how you can't buy potions

 

I honestly must throw away 30-40 potions a day just to keep space in my bag

 

I have 112 ghastly candies so Gengar is in my near future. I also am waiting to evolve my first Rapidash and second (much stronger) Seadra. Just collecting as many Weedle's and Pidgey's as I can for my one lucky egg. Oh, and I finally caught a Tauros. Sitting at 106/106 with less than 50,000 to go for level 24.

 

I feel like everyone here is team instinct.

 

Mystic all day

 

I only took one gym today and then put three Pokemon in gyms that had an available space in them. Never had that happen but I was happy to collect those 40 coins for no work. Haha. Also grabbed four Growlithes at the dog park today so apparently that really is the spawn point.

 

Swung by the gym my Snorlax is in. Level 10 tonight. Phew. That thing will last another day or two.

 

Successful walk today. Caught quite a bit of Magikarp, putting me at 228 candies. It was also pretty dope to see people flock to the Dragonair that suddenly spawned at a lure.

Also caught 2 Dratinis at that same spot, which is weird since they've never spawned there before to my knowledge. And its a Staryu nest, so I know it's not that. Cool regardless.

 

Could be. I see quite a few mystic and valor gyms most frequently though, at least in my area.

 

Mystic/Valor definitely rule the gyms around here like 90% of the time. I'm team Instinct because Yellow was the first game I had played so I thought it was a good choice. I was wrong.

 

Just had a 458 Eevee spawn at my house. Used 8 Great balls, 3 pokeballs, and 8 Razz berries, and it gets away. Pretty triggered right now.

 

Latest hightlights for me have been hatching an Aerodactly, catching a Jinx and beating a gym with Pokemon all stronger than mine.

Never expected to become this addicted.

 

Are Jinx rare for most of you? I see them pretty frequently

 

For me Jinx are rare. Only caught one once.
