anyone else have the pokeball controller? catching pokemon is really easy with it.

 

Beat Koga and got a Zapdos.

All of the stuff I transferred is crazy underleveled. Guess I should have expected that.

 

i’m loving this but the co-op sucks. my buddy described it as “multiplayer enough to keep your nephew busy” which is a perfect description

 

I have it and agree completely. So much easier. I haven't used it for GO yet or taking a poke out with me.

 

I am loving this way more than anticipated

Traded in a bunch of old games and a wii console/controllers and got like $56 value for all so got this for like $6 and that feels right

 

Also have like 8 meltans already

 

About to hit the Elite Four. Liking my party, though I don't know what to use in the six slot. I'm going through Victory Road just evolving things. My dex is at 127 obtained already. lol

Ok, I was tearing up at the scene where cubone reunited with its ghost mother.

 

Had a 167 Rhyhorn chain, found a shiny Chamander. lol

 

I feel like this game should have had the full evolutionary line of all the Kanto Pokémon just to feel a little fuller

 

17 hours in and I only have 4 badges.

Synchronized catching is the future. In Cerulean Cave, this dude got 40,000 EXP off a Chansey.

What training?

 

My lineup consists of levels 31 - 40 and 95% of those levels have been obtained through battles.

 

I mean, you can't even use this technique the way he does until after the elite four. I think it's mostly good for the post game fights which are weird.

 

So far both shiny pokes I've found were not the poke I was chaining. Was chaining a Pikachu and got a shiny Weedle.

 

Came across Arcticono and haven't challenged it yet. I know there's more in the wild apparently - but I don't want to risk it running away.

 

Even outside Cerulean Cave, Chansey is a goldmine. No combo catching, just one + sync bonus on Pokemon Road got me 5k EXP.

Edit: Just got 10k off a huge Rapidash. Jesus Christ.

 

Making my way up victory road to the elite four right now. I was afraid this game was going to be too easy - but it's been quite challenging.

 

Ended up staying up until 5 AM and beating the Elite Four. I'm paying for it right now.
