If that amount of detail is throughout the entire film I'll be satisfied.

 

Noticed the purple M2 tagged on the garbage cans. Mew Two reference?

 

Unova is such an awesome fucking name. Its basically UNited states OV America.

 

An 'R' (Rocket?) is on the front if you zoom in. I don't know if it could only be a coincidence that 'R' and 'M2' could be tags given their relationship in the franchise.

 

I never noticed that. Nice.

 

This is nothing and everything like I expected and I'm buying tickets day one.

I’ve wanted a live action Pokémon movie my whole life and I thought what I wanted as classic retelling of Ash or a Pokémon trainers journey and when I first heard about this movie I was like, “seriously? We’ve been waiting 20 years for this and this is what we’re getting?” but this trailer has sold me so hard. Seems to have a really good balancing of tone too. The Pokémon themselves look realistic enough to work in a live action setting but still remain affable and retain their cartoony qualities. Really glad it’s not a dark and gritty Pokémon.

Okay, finally home from work and was able to watch. I’m all in based on the trailer. This looks like a blast.

The trailer has me thinking of all sorts of ways the detective aspect can work, and they’re all exciting. Can’t wait

 

This can only raise the price of my Pokemon cards

 

One of my biggest regrets in life is getting rid of my Pokémon card binder in 8th grade during a white elephant exchange. Not sure what was wrong with me

 

I kept mine under my bed at my parent's house in good condition and it's still there! The day I got my holographic Charizard (must have been back in 1999??), I put it in plastic so it should be worth something.
