    So assuming that this weekend...

How absolutely fucking blessed are we to get a new PTW album in 2026. It’s SO good, too.

Gets better on each listen. Easily my favorite since YCBY, I could never get into versions, tropic rot, or the numbers eps

Same here. Listened 4 times yesterday and then through it in the shuffle with both YCBY and Tear From the Red and it fits right in.

Need to keep listening to this to get a better idea of my thoughts. It’s good. I had the same problem with Everything Hurts and it clicked hard.

I think Everything Hurts works so well in the full album listen. Neither of the singles won me over as singles but listening to it all together is great stuff. Weeping Tones so good. But honestly the whole thing rules.

I think I'm on like my 4th or 5th listen at this this point. These guys disappeared for 17 years and truely just dropped one of their best records

Some solid tracks on this. I should probably hit the converge tour

Don’t want to be a “I prefer their early stuff” wanker, but I’m gonna be. This was fine, but nothing they’ve done since YCBY has ever grabbed me.

incredible return from these guys. I wore out the singles but within the album they hit so well. Weeping Tones might be my SOTY so far. Jeff sounds incredible.

Only got the chance to listen for first time today but thought it was really good. Had to laugh at the 3 minutes of silence on the last track, that trick was a real throwback to early 00s

  18. Finishing my first listen and holy hell, I didn't expect this to be that heavy. The singles didn't fully prepare me for what was coming

this is really cool so far, definitely agree with the consensus that this is their heaviest since ycby while also being heavily informed by the last two albums

only major quirk so far is that i dont like the production very much lol

got a few jams of this under my belt now and im pretty blown away by this. i kinda tried not to go in with any expectations right off the bat but i honestly like this a lot more front to back than i do the tropic rot lol, although without you and one other is my favorite song of theirs. def an early aoty for me

Guys were great live last night. Crowd was very dead for a hometown show, which is a bummer, but these new songs shine very bright live

  24. Going to be the in the minority by saying I kinda was hoping for a bit more of that singular bluesy/western spaghetti flavor they integrated into Versions and The Tropic Rot but I can't say I'm mad to see them lean into their heaviness again. No one does it like them still

feelin pretty glad that i skipped the singles this time around yeah lol theyre sick but they wouldnt have given me a clear picture of what this is, plus the feeling of hearing everything fresh after so long was beyond surreal lol
