Idk if self-promotion is cool in this thread but hey my band is putting out a new 7" and the first song is premiering here if anyone is interested!! mp3 premiere: "Skeleton Dad" - Mineral Girls
I was really close to making an Asian American Musicians thread, had no idea this one existed. bump. I just came across Run River North and noticed I went to school with their pianist haha Thao Nguyen and Mitski were mentioned already. I don't think Meg and Dia was mentioned yet. Also: Priscilla Ahn Norah Jones Rachael Yamagata Jhene Aiko Kina Grannis a bunch of other YouTube people... Just realized most of my list so far are Hapa and/or female. Maybe it's a genre thing. There's hip hop artists like Far East Movement, Dumbfounded, and Timothy Delaghetto, but I never really listened to them. Grace Kelly was performing with Jon Batiste and Stay Human on the Late Show for a while.
