I haven't been hooked by a first episode like that since the first season of Severance. So in on this

 

The first two episodes were fantastic. Very much on board with this show.

 

Been thinking about episode 1 all day and anxiously awaiting for the kids to go to sleep and watch episode 2

I kinda want to go back and watch all the Gilligan X-Files episodes now.

The problem with releasing 2 episodes at once is that by Friday I want another 2 episodes. Only 9 episodes in this season, going to fly by.

 

Yeah wow this is fantastic. I knew what the premise of the show was but my wife didn’t so I had her go in as blind as possible and every few minutes she just kept repeating “okay what the fuck is going on?” I’m all in.

 

I'm new to Apple TV, do episodes drop at midnight east or west coast time?

 

The moment I was hooked was the long shot of Carol driving back home after The Joining in what could be described as a typical shot you'd see in a post-apocalyptic series/film, but instead of causing destruction showed the infected working together to save eachother and put out fires.

There is something about the tone of this (especially in episode 2) that reminds me of The Good Place in a weird way and I can't quite put my finger on why I get that vibe yet.
