  1. Loved episode 1. The entire middle section is incredible, especially the bar band frozen with their instruments and everyone at the hospital. It so effectively uses everything we've had to learn and internalize about infectious diseases in the last six years.

  11. I went in 100% blind, only watched the Donut licking trailer.

I ... don't think this premise is at all interesting.

I think it's one of the most interesting concepts for a show I've seen in a while.

ok honestly this is cool. humanity does already function like a superorganism on a less impressive scale, and our thoughts are only naturally getting more accessible to each other with time and technological advancements. this is like the endpoint of what the species could eventually become but sped up. fully removing the ego from each person creates a larger functioning organism that views its defects like cancer cells but through a naturally empathetic, protective human lens, and removes the illusion of individuality created by the yet-unrealized network. the only downside is the suddenness to which it happens, causing fatalities to individuals, but even those are now akin to minor injuries to the whole organism. a cancer cell with human intelligence wouldn't be thrilled by its situation either

    cool!

Huge wow to the first episode. Loved the opening with the scientists, made it feel like classic 80s/90s sci fi films. And very absorbing especially with Rhea Seehorn’s acting as the whole thing unfolds and gets so freaky scary at the end. Knowing Vince Gilligan, this might turn out to be best show of the year.

Thank god it’s not a mystery box show. By the end of the pilot they are like “ok this is the premise” so now we can really cook. There’s a worse version of this show that holds that reveal til like the end of the season

I watched some Breaking Bad, but went into this because of the high praise. I love it so far. I totally get the Leftover comparison. I like the lead actress’s performance. I have no idea where the series is going lol
