His fault for not capitalizing on it. If he installed a net on the roof he’d never have to pay for pizza ever again.
just one of the few remaining incredibly lethal things that used to be everywhere that humans haven't gotten rid of yet
Seems like it. But I got the impression he still didn’t know much about them. How would he know to look for a frequency?
Just wanna say that I’m still team virus at this point. Beam me up. Can’t wait to find out why I’m wrong.
i think they will unlink someone from the hivemind at some point and i’ll be interested to see what actually happens to them when they are taken over.
I wonder if Manusous is going to ruin Carol getting to play house with Zosia? I’m sure so. Like, is he going to be a menace though? Even though I know Carol is still trying to gather data on the others, she likes the companionship…..considering.
My theory the last few episodes is Manusous is gonna kill one of them. Not in the kind of way Carol did, but literally murder one directly, and it's gonna cause some kind of negative chain reaction
Currently watching Gilligan's X-Files episodes. Currently on 8x21 Je Souhaite, which is also Gilligan's TV directorial debut. This episode also like Pluribus is a take on Gilligan's fascination with I Dream Of Jeanie and a subversion of the fantasy of wish fulfilment. Also there is a whole self storage facility thing in this episode.
at my partner's family's house for the holidays, and heard the Pluribus theme playing from his sister's room. she's apparently all caught up, so it looks like the three of us will be watching the finale together.
About 3 episodes into this and I like it so far (don’t love it yet). Not super concerned with figuring everything out and just enjoying the ride, though it definitely seems like a metaphor for the cultural takeover of AI. The story direction seems more in common with The X-Files, while stylistically it feels a bit like BCS and BB.
What's interesting is I believe I heard that Vince was developing this for quite a while before the big AI "boom", so while it wasn't intentional, it does seem to have a lot of similarities
I'm catching up on this after a couple weeks of not being able to watch. I love a good slowburn but this show is like molasses lmao also the phone voicemail in episode 5 is Howard Hamlin right?
