I like that song but it should've been maybe a minute longer and evolved into something a little more than it ended up being

 

Control is fucking incredible

 

This album broke my brain and it went from being one of the worst albums of 2020 to possibly cracking my top 10 in a matter of 2 days.

mark it here first - when WLR becomes widely beloved, remember that this forum of all places was one of the earlier places to be on board with it

 

I agree. I'm not completely sold on it yet, but I thought it was terrible on first listen and kept hearing people say how great it was so I gave it another spin and stuff definitely started to stand out to me.

 

Yeah i'm really liking it. Did not understand all of the immediate hate on Twitter that seemed to be coming from a lot of corners of the hip hop atmosphere

 

Hate to be that guy but I already finished my EOTY list like 3 weeks ago. This and Evermore will be on my 2021 list.

Got mine in a few weeks ago, mine sounds pretty good compared to lots of my other modern day rap albums on vinyl

I always love the production on his albums but I really don’t see Carti’s appeal. I couldn’t even get into this as “gym” music. I laugh too hard when he raps “ take my shirt off and all the hoes stop breathin'”. Is he supposed to be funny?
