YES! S1 is amazing

 

So that Snow Leopard footage was something else. They are almost impossible to get a glimpse of and to get the scenes they did was incredible

 

That Eagle to Eagle fighting action! Woah!

 

The Jaguar taking down that crocodile! Awesome!

 

Frog tadpoles evading the wasp! Evolution in action! Woah!

 

The total abundance of wildlife in there was amazing.

 

Seeing that giraffe fend off the lions was amazing

 

Ugh, hyped af. Hope the bluray hits as soon as the all the episodes air like LIFE did (if I remember correctly).

 

Umm winter 2017 starts on January 1st so probably not that long.

 

Oh, winter in the UK starts in December. Not as long to wait then!

 

Winter starts in the world about 10 days before the year ends.

No one cares about the Southern Hemisphere

 

Those birds that were ghost ridin' the whip on top of that elephant at beginning of Grasslands episode was awesome

 

Blu Ray rip of the entire series is floating around online, so I'm sure you can buy it now/soon in certain places.

 

I just watched all of this. Absolutely fantastic all the way through. I thought the "Cities" episode would look at humans and be generally uninteresting, but honestly it ended up being my favorite of the series. It's absolutely fascinating to see how these animals have adapted to living in urban environments. Although, the final segment with the sea turtles might be the most heartbreaking thing I've ever seen.

 

I would say the 'Cities' episode was my favourite also, the leopards hunting around the humans was extraordinary. Can't believe a proper big cat is so comfortable living and thriving amongst such a dense population

 

When does this come to BR!??

 

Finally got around to watching the first episode of season two. Together with the first season, this is far and away the greatest achievement of the medium. Binging this tonight.

 

I had no idea Hanz Zimmer did the soundtrack. Awesome.

 

I wish Attenborough could narrate everything. There isn't a single show which wouldn't benefit from his lovely lovely voice.

 

I want to hear only him cover the news, I want him to be the person I speak to in drive-thru's, to narrate my daily life decisions, to call sporting events, etc.
