Really happy to hear some positive news about this. Hoping for the best for him moving forward. Prey has crept back into my rotation recently for whatever reason, and I really don't think it can be overstated how fantastic a record it is. It's like a funhouse mirror Hot Water Music album recorded in the upsidedown.

Incredibly sad but also grateful I got the opportunity to see them a couple years ago and talk to Gared. I told him I was probably the youngest guy at the show (I was 23? I think?) and he laughed. Incredibly warm and kind guy and an absolute one of a kind vocalist and lyricist. Gonna miss him and the band a lot
This sucks and not because I was just getting into them. Fuck cancer, I am so tired of it taking people before their time. Truly a sad loss.
