Glad Inside Out gets the love it deserves. It’s also my sons favorite. He literally watches it everyday
not that the other rankings aren't good but i like this specifically for wall-e at #1 and we have the same order for the toy storys (3124)
I've been working on my definitive Top Pixar movies list for over a year now. Is it a hot take that A Bug's Life might be better than Finding Nemo? Judging by the first post I think it might be a hot take. The trailer for Soul looks so good. I have a feeling that might be the best Pixar movie since Inside Out (which is definitely top 5ish).
Also I'm mad that this thread doesn't have more replies. Just like my 90s Nickelodeon thread that I might have to bump tonight with some new kind of ranking, I'd have expected that this community would be flooded with fans of Pixar. The only movies that I really watch are Pixar or Harry Potter (which were a massive disappointment, but still...)... and I know I just mentioned 90s Nickelodeon, so maybe I am still a child.
going off what i remember from my letterboxd, i gave 5/5 to toy story 1+3, wall-e (best), incredibles and i think up
I’ve rewatched every movie on the Pixar catalogue over the past 5-6 months due to my son loving every single one. I’m fairly confident now that Monsters Inc, and Inside Out are among my top 2. Still think The Incredibles 2 is fantastic, and in my top 3.
I will preface this by saying I’m not really a fan of the more popular films. Some are good, others I don’t get the appeal personally. Forgive me lol 1.Coco 2. Onward 3. A Bug's Life 4. Inside Out 5. Toy Story 3 6. Wall-E 7. Ratatouille 8. The Good Dinosaur 9. The Incredibles 2 10. Toy Story 11. Monsters Inc. 12. The Incredibles 13. Finding Nemo 14. Monsters University 15. Brave 16. Toy Story 4 17. Up (Everything after the opening was meh to me, unfortunately) 18. Finding Dory 19. Toy Story 2 ————— Haven’t seen these or desired to, but am confident I would not like them 20. Cars 21. Cars 2 22. Cars 3
I know. I think part of it was the hype for me. I went in expecting something worthy of it, and it just fell a little flat. The talking dog was a little odd as well. I’d watch it again, but I’m never like “man I want to watch Up”, but that can be said for pretty much everything from 11 on down. 18 and down are the only movies I won’t watch again lol
I couldn't help myself. These films spend a decent bit of time in our Plex rotation -- with a lot of background viewing, and I think this is my personal ranking. Top 5 feel fairly interchangeable. 1. Coco 2. Ratatouille 3. Finding Nemo 4. Toy Story 3 5. Onward 6. A Bug's Life 7. Toy Story 8. Inside Out 9. Monsters Inc. 10. The Incredibles 11. Monsters University 12. Up 13. Finding Dory 14. The Incredibles 2 15. Wall-E 16. Cars 17. The Good Dinosaur 18. Toy Story 4 19. Toy Story 2 20. Brave 21. Cars 2 22. Cars 3
finally watched all the pixar popcorn shorts. about three of em were any better than okay. none of em are any special
that age range means there's no reason to use a trans actress because I imagine they'll use an unknown like they did with Inside Out and Moana
