If you were 5 hours minimum away from a date, would you travel it? Because I'm on the fence about this and Pinegrove headlining in Chi in July. Both would be insane shows, but I don't think I can pull it off twice.
see, that's real weird for me, since i'm on the east coast. 5 hours minimum for me is like a connecticut show, haha. that feels like a whole other world. two hours to philly is usually what i consider "traveling", haha. it takes a festival or a one off (american football, latterman) to get me to even go to NYC
Never been to Now That's Class but I'd like to attend the Cleveland show if it isn't and doesn't sell out before I get tickets.
I'll be at the Richmond show. I was going to suggest PWR BTTM play Strange Matter at some point, only for this to get announced right before I wrote them. I am so stoked!
I love it. Small place, great food and beer, and they always have the gender-neutral bathrooms which is why I was going to suggest it.
really looking forward to the show, i've never heard PWR BTTM before so i'm hopeful they'll surprise me!
they were so funny too. honestly, PWR BTTM felt like the headliner on this show. there were WAY more ppl there to see them
Yup. Pity Sex is a good band but they don't really inspire really passionate fans, PWR BTTM is so inspirational to some people that they'll get real good numbers to come out just for them
doesn't help that Pity Sex's set wasn't exactly all that, how do i say.... invigorating? i don't want to say it was "boring" but they didn't really have a great stage presence. there was nobody really getting into the set until the last few songs
It's hard to follow PWR BTTM. It was definitely their night and everyone knew it. I haven't seen quite such a lopsided show in a long time, but this wasn't a bad thing. Pity Sex were technically awesome, but man. There's just no comparison after a set like that.
