Not sure. I know rain can damage technical equipment like wires and stuff so maybe?

 

Hard rain won't stop it. Lightning will and I'm slightly concerned about that today.

 

Pitchfork Fest Friday Weather Rating: 3.1

 

In terms of past years, this rain is better than the storms that usually rip through.

 

Yeah I’ve gone plenty of time when lightning has shut it down but I couldn’t remember hard rain.

I wish they kept this in September like last year.

 

I also wish they kept it in September but I felt like it was too busy with it and Riot Fest back-to-back.

 

Those 2 weeks between Pitchfork, Riot and other solo shows I went to 11 shows in 14 days. 10/10 would do it again

 

My head says yes, my body says never again.

 

Hope everyone has a great time this weekend! Hopefully next year I’ll finally be able to make it.

 

Camp Cope was great, now I’m tempted to go see them tomorrow at Thalia.

 

Tomorrow Im going by myself, if someone wants to hang hit me up!

This is my schedule:
The Linda Lindas (or The Armed) > Dry Cleaning > Magdalena Bay (or Iceage) > Karate > Japanese Breakfast > Mitski

 

I’m at Spiritualized right now and I feel like everyone is talking loudly around me. I’ve moved like 4 different times and I keep ending up next to a group talking. Can these people just go to another area or wait until the set ends?

 

I’ll be there in time for The Armed.

 

The crowd was not great today.

 

I had my Matt moment. Was on the barricade for the whole set, he and I grabbed each other’s arms and sang part of it. I’m a happy man.

 

Go see The Armed, especially if you're also going to Riot since The Linda Lindas will be there too.

 

Thats what Im thinking. But on the other hand if I see The Linda Lindas at Pitchfork is one less possible conflict at Riot lol

 

The National is the best band

 

That was amazing!

 

How muddy was yesterday? Should I wear boots or my sneakers would be able to survive?

 

The worst spots where by the gates, pits, and by where the vehicles drive. I'm still wavering between boots or my chucks for today.

 

The actual field wasn’t too too bad. I wore crocs haha, they were perfect.

 

Everybody better go see Cupcakke today

 

Im on my way to the festival, Im aiming to get there on time for her set :)

 

Im wearing black shorts, martens and a botton up shirt with pink, blue and white stripes. If anyoke sees come me say hi :)
