I keep going back and forth on if I should go Saturday. On one hand, the Jbrekkie -> Lucy -> Mitski combo sounds to good to pass up and I can walk to the park. But also I've seen all of them in the last 9 months or so and could really save the $100. Prob gonna go but hoping maybe for some cheap last minute tix or something
New aftershows announced: Kurt Vile and the Violators at Lincoln Hall 7/11 Dreamer Isioma 7/14 at Empty Bottle Questlove DJ set at Sleeping Village 7/16 You have to win your way into all three but you just have to do a bunch of Zelle transactions. (Or for Questlove you can pay $50 for a ticket) Zelle® Is About to Change the Game at Pitchfork Music Festival
Sad about Chubby and the Gang, it was one of the main reasons I wanted to go. The Linda Lindas are a great replacement but Im seeing them at Riot Fest 2 months later.
If you can walk to the park, I'd just check Stubhub and Gametime the day of to see if anyone's reselling their ticket for less than face value. That's happened to me soooo many times this year.
Right there with you, it just doesn't feel responsible of me to do when I've seen all the artists I want to see already on their current album cycles. Still hoping some free/cheap tix will fall into my lap somehow
I’m going on Saturday and debated going Friday too, but the only artist I want to see that I could make it for that day is The National and I don’t think it’s worth a ticket just for them.
Yeah I really have no reason to complain as I saw both Lucy and Mitski earlier this year and I’m seeing Japanese Breakfast headline in Kalamazoo that Sunday… I just loved the idea of seeing all three back to back to back
It’s been hitting me all week that this is next weekend and I’m so ready for it. Lost out on going to Homecoming in 2020 (and Pitchfork 2020) so this’ll be the first time I’ve seen The National since 2019. It’s been far too long.
I've been talking myself into getting a cheap 3 day (hopefully) to catch The National on Friday. If anyone has any leads, hit me up.
I will wait to buy my Saturday ticket at the box office. If I remember correctly, last year they were selling them face value without fees in there
Ended up with a free ticket to Heatwave Saturday so I’ll be doing that instead but I’ll prob regret missing Mitski
Is reddit usually the best place to buy a last minute ticket? Trying to snag a single day ticket for Friday to knock off two of my bucket list bands (Spiritualized and The National), but I won't know for sure if I'll be able to make it until Friday morning.
