well i know how to pass the time the rest of this work day.

wonder if they have a link to a playlist for this on their website so i don't have to search for each song every 3 minutes...

Lucy Dacus - Night Shift is the real winner here. What a track.

Really surprised to see Camp Cope, and The 1975 this high. Happy for Snail Mail too. As always, it was a very interesting read to bring context to some of the best songs of the year.

Found some gems in there including Mitski and Snail Mail, but there's a lot of shit as well.

The fact these lists are coming out did inspire me to make a favourite songs of 2018 playlist for myself - which was really more an effort to pick my favourite song from each of my favourite releases this year. Now reviewing their list, unsurprisingly no overlap aside from boygenius.

Seeing Helena Hauff on this list was such a delightful surprise.

wrap yourself in petals for armor.

Soccer Mommy, Snail Mail, CRJ, boygenius, and Camp Cope making the list, I DIG it. I am also very happy for Camp Cope as high as #25, they deserve it, new album is top 10 this year for me for sure.
