The highly-anticipated retelling of the classic children’s tale is currently slated to make its debut in the fall of 2022.

The film will star Tom Hanks as Geppetto, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as the titular character, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jiminy Cricket, Cynthia Erivo as the Blue Fairy, Luke Evans as the villainous Coachman, Keegan-Michael Key as Honest John, and Lorraine Bracco as Sofia the Seagull, a new character made just for the live-action film

Yikes. This trailer was cringe worthy. Tom Hanks reciting the poem did not seem natural at all. Literally sounded and looked like Tom Hanks in a Gepetto Halloween costume

 

See this works for me, but Tom Hanks in the Elvis trailer? Laughed hysterically and can't fathom being able to keep a straight face during that movie. Since this is a Disney +, I'll give it a go. Not much to lose if it ends up being bad.

guess we’ll wait a lil longer until we see review headlines such as “Your Nose Will Grow If You Say This Remake Is Good” or “You’re Better Off in Pleasure Island Than Watching This Horrible Movie”
