The ending really bummed me out but it’s pretty great overall. Could use a 10 minute trim. The afterlife stuff is super cool.

So weird hearing Christoph Waltz in this. It's... very interesting so far. Kids are into it lol but it got dark pretty quick.

 

I need a Death figurine stat

 

This was great. Lot of cool ideas and creative visuals. Really loved all the stuff with the grotesque fish/whale thing.

 

Really enjoyed this one. Great balance between the goofy kids movie stuff and depressing parts of life in WWII era Italy. I was worried a bit when the first singing section started but I'm glad they kept those scenes to a minimum throughout. I love the bit where Sebastian keeps getting interrupted right as he's starting a song. And the stuff with Death was really interesting and unexpected for a family movie but I loved that part of it.

 

It's like the year of two Hercules films.

 

It took me about 30 minutes to figure out it wasn't Tom Hanks. I thought it was really good voice work.

 

Ewan playing Jiminy Cricket like Christian from Moulin Rouge was incredible

Just finished this, really loved it. Can’t believe movies like this get made. Takes insane dedication that I really can’t fathom having.

I finally watched this and I loved it. All the death/afterlife stuff was sooooo up my alley.
