Happy release day. Four songs in and this fucks. I'm all in on this band. They're so damn good.

 

this has better riffs than 90% of the bands in this scene

 

Paul Vallejo is a fucking genius, man, I'm telling you

 

weirdly enough the guitar work reminds me a lot of bayside

 

I've never really listened to them actually hahah

 

a lot of this album reminds me of like, a bayside and MCR smash-up. love it.

 

A lot heavier than I had anticipated. I love it!

 

Loving this album! Excited to see them continue to blow up

 

This album deserves so much more attention. So good.

 

Listening to it and this is nothing like I expected when I saw the pop-punk tag. It sounds dirtier if this makes sense? It reminds me more of bands like Bayside, Chasing Victory or Meriwether instrumentally, with the southern-y riffing. It brings me back to the mid to late 00s scene a lot and I'm all for it. "i'm not crying you're crying" and "the kids aren't alright" are bangers.

 

That first "I" in the chorus after the last "I need something real to change" in the bridge of kids is so fucking cool

Also probably the best chorus on the album (?). Might be my favorite track overall

edit: trust fall right after that and the chorus on that is catchy af too

Just gets better and better every listen
