incredibly underrated album

 

it's so great. just the 4 of them in the room jamming raw, on equal footing before egos and fame started getting in the way. the whole run from Bridges Burning to Stay is just astonishing

 

15 years since Rick Wright passed. RIP, he was the glue of this band and never got the props he deserved. an amazing player and singer

 

agreed tbh. he makes time, their best song

 

No re-recorded Dark Side of the Moon release after all

 

I thought the remaster of the album from last year was all there was. It was supposed to be re-recorded too?

 

Yeah Roger decided to re-record the entire album last year for some reason.

anyway this album is pretty cool!

 

just caught the Pompeii remaster in cinema. very cool stuff, looked and sounded amazing

 

I saw it a week or two ago. Absolutely fantastic.

 

it was shown in iMax here, the music parts were fantastic, especially those long zooms, but all of the talking head interviews were awful on the big screen. Really should have cropped those or found a way to zoom them out, holy shit.

 

those felt like the least necessary part to me but Nick basically predicting how the band was gonna implode a few years later was pretty wild
