Hmmmm. The p4k article stated that the survivor had requested they take a year off touring. Evan’s statement came out on 21st November 2017 and the first show back is 23rd November 2018. Not a great look that they’ve taken it so literally. In the UK their only shows are down south so it’s not even a dilemma for me, but can’t imagine I’d feel like going to one of their shows as things stand right now. Edit - it will also be interesting to see if the venues come under any pressure over their decision to host these gigs.
Yeah, instead of < 3 as a heart it's their way of doing it with the ampersand, which is kind of their thing, I guess.
Yeah, I just realized that it was probably because they use the ampersand for everything. Definitely an interesting set of dates.
The Guild Room at First Congregational Church in Montclair? Very odd, this is right next to my home town and I have tons of friends in local bands, never been to a show or even heard of that place as a venue. Looks like it's a wedding hall. Strange.
No time for these guys and no time for bands who might agree to support them on these shows. Fuck all the way off.
I texted a few of my friends who play plenty of shows in Montclair, none of em ever heard of it haha.
but they're probably playing their because no other venues would take them lol also noticed there is no philly date lol
There's also a whole scene of emo indie bands that play there on the reg too, but yeah besides that, hardcore.
