Yes, I do know what he meant, as evidenced by my response. I also know what triggered means. I have PTSD, and misuse of the term "triggered" is a huge problem. You're cordially invited to not come for me when I didn't send for you. Edit: This is a much, much more civil response than you deserve.
triggered doesn't mean something else nowadays just because edgelord assholes on the internet wanna make a joke out of people re-experiencing trauma, fuck all the way outta here
I wonder if we'll get any B-sides or if they are just going to keep them for the *rumored* 2019 album
Well, do you think Conde Naste has a vested interest in restorative justice and rehabilitation? Or do you think controversy = clicks, so they ran it?
I really don't think p4k had malicious intent in posting that. Why do we gotta assume the motivation behind the article is unpure? I'm not claiming she has the entire story or that it was unbiased but it seems kinda weak to discredit it entirely on the basis that people here may know things Jenn didn't
Oh my ire isn’t toward Jenn at all it’s toward pitchfork as a company. I don’t believe as a whole the publication had any intentions other than to generate clicks
I feel like there are too many people posting on this thread without details. I hope that the person affected by this relationship finds healing. There has never been a shortage of people who abuse power to get what they want. I’d like to hope our generation continues to hold people accountable. There’s no shortage of things that we should be upset about, but I guess we can vote with our dollars by choosing what to and not to support. One point I’d like to make though is that you’d be hard pressed to find a group of 5 dudes that at least one has never done anything questionable. I’m not saying it’s right, I’m just saying statistically speaking we are supporting a lot of people who have been pretty sketchy to put it nicely.
I can't complain about them putting it up on streaming services since I was only able to listen to it through my Apple Music. Plus, there were many people questioning why it wasn't up on streaming as soon as it came out.
anyway obv both fans and the industry want this band to make money and be successful so i’m sorta done arguing about it, enjoy your album
