I think it's pretty clear that nothing productive will come of anymore of this conversation between blatant misrepresentation of my points, name calling and more. Time for me to step away. I guess it takes three times to learn a lesson. Appreciate everyone who was able to work towards a positive discussion on these issues and the album.

 

Block the bad users, really makes your experience on the site much better.

Ahh light on is amazing

 

I mean I’d say Angelina is my favorite bc that’s like one of my favorite pinegrove songs haha but out of the new ones it’s probably portal or skylight

 

I was pretty taken aback by the production at first.
I was expecting this to be more polished then cardinal but i really have come to love how roomy everything is.
It really gives the LP a vibe.

 

Really like the piano on light on

 

Darkness is a standout for me.

 

I think the funniest thing about this is that you think you’re the first dude to whine about me being rude to you in order to actually avoid engaging with any of the points made in this thread because you know they’re right

I can’t decide if I want Portal to be longer or if it’s the perfect length. Light On hasn’t clicked for me like it has with everyone else, but I really love every other song that is over 2 minutes.

 

Can you cite where you saw the victim was not okay with the outcome of this? Only thing I read was that the victim didn't appreciate the tone of the article

 

It mostly comes from Josh Coll who wants to challenge the narrative... whatever that actually means.. could just mean that the article romanticized a shitty situation. He never said there was falsified information in the article tho.

 

How about instead, I call you a rape apologist? Would that be helpful?

Well I have them blocked, I did that mainly for both of our benefit since I think we don’t see eye to eye on this. So maybe some of these are quotes from them, I don’t really know.

I do think we could have this conversation a bit more respectfully. There have been a lot of non male perspectives in here that have felt like they get solid points across without the extremely aggressive tone I was seeing. Just my two cents :).
