i mean if he was still in his prime he definitely would have been back, don't give nfl teams that much credit

only reason he even was blacklisted from the nfl was because people actually saw video as well

 

this is kinda the point i was making. i don’t think he was kept off a team bc his ypc were in decline - that happens a ton. a player in decline uppercutting his fiancé on camera doesn’t.

anyways we’re kinda losing the plot here. most athletes are bad bc the system they fundamentally are a part of don’t care if they are, as long as they perform. it sucks and it’s something i think about a lot as someone who spent a decade and a half as an athlete and continues to be a fan

 

To add on to this, don't forget that just the report about what happened was out which earned him the 2 game suspension. THEN the video came out which caused the NFL to react and suspend him indefinitely.

 

yup. as i said, the fact the NFL can suspend josh gordon for two years for weed but ray rice initially just two games is horrendous

 

The jury actually backed him and he was awarded money for abuse. So not sure this is a good example. There was no evidence against him.

 

So I don't fully understand this, but apparently RFC sent Darkness to IHeartRadio for release in December and didn't remove it when all this stuff went down? Anyway, it's the real recorded version. It's "out there".

This seems short sighted. I would read this, and then come to your own conclusions. It’s much more convoluted than other situations that are similar in nature. Punk Talks, Pinegrove, and a Mishandled Allegation

 

regardless of what happens, until evan makes another statement he is still an admitted abuser and the way his statement was phrased doesn't change anything.

I've seen Nandi post lots of videos of her and Zack (they are engaged now) but nothing is ever mentioned about Pinegrove or Evan in any of the stories on IG anyways. So uhh that's my useless update I guess
