We absolutely don't need another Quiet Place movie but good for him, get that big studio paycheck

This movie was very good. Hopefully this isn't one of those "paycheck to pursue passion projects" deals that then quickly descends into making focus group studio drudgery only but I'd love to be wrong

what happened to him? Loving wasn't good but it wasn't end your career bad

Shotgun Stories and Take Shelter are great but he has been mediocre ever since.

Mud is good, although I'd agree it's not as a good as Shotgun or Shelter. I never watched Midnight Special or Loving.

yeah i like mud and midnight special decently enough. they aren't the same tier as shotgun stories and take shelter but they're still pretty good and much better than loving

    Despite Cage? He’s fantastic

    Maybe so, maybe not.

    Scalding take there by Brucy.

I think some people have this weird aversion to Cage, it’s a zombie opinion (not saying that’s the case with Brucy, they might just not care for the individual performance). I have a relative who just assumes he’s a bad actor because he’s in quite a few bad movies. I go have you seen Leaving Las Vegas? No. Adaptation? No. Mandy? No. Raising Arizona? No. Wild at Heart? No. Ok, we’re done here.

not to mention all the other great things he’s done, The Rock, Snake Eyes, Con-Air, Bad Lieutenant it just goes on and on.

I had a girlfriend make me turn off Adaptation because she hated Nicolas Cage.
