Huge as in important to me, and the Thrice/Circa show is 2.5 hours away from me. Also with my current job it's hard to go to shows now a days, plus now I'm married so I can't just go to shows whenever I want anymore. That's all.
Same thing for Michigan too. I'll probably end up at the MWY/PBTT show though since I've seen Touché a few times the past year
I bought tickets to touché a while back so I'm still going to that but I've never seen pianos so this is a real bummer for me
We just got our first feeling of fall this morning so i had to put on Keep You on the way to work. love this band, hopefully new music comes sooner rather than later.
I feel I would listen to that album more if it didn't absolutely ruin me every time I listen to it. Like, that's obviously what makes it special but it also makes it difficult to listen to regularly for me...
I listened to keep you almost everyday for probably a year and a half. Remains one of my favorites of all time. TLLA is the one I can't listen too much anymore because it absolutely ruins me
I go back and forth over whether or not Keep You is cathartic for me, or if it is just enabling me to dwell on a loss :/
Keep You is synonymous with autumn. Can't wait to see these guys in October and hopefully get new music soon.
As I get older I've started asking myself that more often. Not so much about loss in my case, but negativity in general I guess.
the post hurricane weather here made me really feel keep you today. been this and the national all day
Every time this thread is posted in I think theres been some announcement. Has to be soon though, right?
I really have no clue what this is gonna sound like. I'd like something a little less heavy but not sure they can write non somber music.
i think less heavy is the direction they are going for sure. i wish it was the opposite but at the same time i feel like that ship has sailed for this group which is ok too
I just started listening to Keep You again after a year or two break from it. It hits me just as hard as the first time I spun that record.
895 and the accompanying video were such a pleasant surprise when released. It was everything that was great about Keep You wrapped up into one triumphant song. I understand why it didn't fit on the album, but man, I love it. Quintessential.
