I love every twiabp record when they first come out, but they always drop off hard for me save a song or two

 

Never understood the hype around World Is. They range from meh to downright laughable to me, particularly the spoken word EP

 

Great band with 3 really solid lps. I don’t pay attention to the other stuff as much tho

 

I honestly repressed the fact that ep existed, thanks for the reminder maybe I’ll listen when I need a laugh (other than this I’ve enjoyed their material but nothing life changing yet)

 

Its at my local record store every time I go there so I live with the constant reminder.

 

I hated wie for the longest time but that (and the deer leap split) is what I return to most from them

 

Why would you listen to a spoken word record in order to get a laugh?

 

because laughing is enjoyable (I prob wont actually do it but if I did I would laugh)

 

i don't think of the spoken word record as twiabp canon

harmlessness is one of my favorites of all time pretty easily, even if the first track is unlistenable to me now

 

love twiabp. I wasn't impressed with their live show though, the singer sounded awful both times I've seen them.

 

I haven't been super into TWIABP since W,IE, though I think Harmlessness is quite the achievement. I didn't really like the new album at all. Hate to be that guy, but I much preferred the scrappier sound of the EPs and W,IE.

 

i think their last two albums are the best but i truly believe harmlessness is a special record that most bands will never top

 

TWIABP never did anything for me. Good band though.

i dont think TWIABP are nearly as unique as people make them out to be. like theyve got 10 members so what

well at least they can fit on stages now

 

As someone who just recently got into TWIABP I like them a lot. Esp the last two albums.

 

MY vinyl of this just showed up. I got the “yellow” exclusive from urban outfitters and it’s not really yellow - it’s a clear light yellow. Pretty pleasantly surprised!
