I'm here at work, reading the lyrics in anticipation to get in my car and listen to this album on the drive home before the long weekend.

Glad the lyrics are finally out. I can get to digest the song in a more absolute way. Some of the lyrics you guys have been posting are giving me chills.

decided listening at work would probably not be the best decision for an emotional state while trying to get shit done so i'll give this a go tomorrow

 

I’ll echo what everyone’s said about the drums and Love on Repeat. Listened at work a few times so I haven’t paid too much attention to the lyrics. I’m looking forward to listening with good headphones tonight.

 

Picked up a (supposed) black with gold splatter copy off of discogs shipped from the US. I hope it is actually that variant and not a mislabeled black one.

 

This record keeps hitting me harder and harder.

yeah lol. I also accidentally purchased a used Blind Guardian CD for $9 so it's been a good day

 

My uncle died a year ago today so alternating between this and Tool (his favorite band) has been rough but therapeutic.

 

"Blue" is absolutely crushing, I just dove into the lyrics, didn't love the song on first couple listens, but the lyrics in context with the music just gave me chills. This album is great.

 

Ok so finally listened. I love it. I’ve seen a lot about the drums on Love On Repeat, but Fake Lighting is pretty amazing also. I really dig Will Yips production here too.

 

I drove to 2 record stores and couldn’t find a cd lol

 

I tried 6 stores today. Could not find this or new mgmt.

 

It sometimes blows my mind what music stores do and don't carry. They didn't even a card/divider for Pianos, I had to find it in the "Miscellaneous Pi..." section

Forever Sound standing out to me on my third listen and first on studio monitors. Love the riff.

 

The thing about this album is that... it is very good

 

This is great.

Echoing what others have said about the drums dominating this record. Only listened once so didn’t pick up on too many lyrics. Will need a lot of repeat listens tonight with some drank.

 

This album is really phenomenal, and will surely grow on me. However, I initially don't love Bay of Dreams, and I can't believe how little I'm digging Forever Sound's first half

 

Bay of Dreams was my least favorite on my first few listens, but in a more chill state of mind it finally clicked with me and I am definitely glad it's part of this album. Forever Sound on the other hand has been a standout since my first listen

 

Yeah Forever Sound is the song I keep thinking of.
